Today, August 21, 2026, we commemorate the 𝟰𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 of a man who stood as an epitome of 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

His assassination in 1983 sparked a flame that would eventually ignite the 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟲 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, proving that one man’s conviction can awaken an entire nation.

May his courage remind us that 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱, it is fought for, and carried forward by those who dare to stand for their ground, for what is right.

Everything starts with a dream. Then a vision. And at last, the reality.

At the start of the federation year, we were sure about what we wanted to establish. We want progress and excellence to maintain and surpass those that have been passed to us by the previous federations. We want to make JPIAns know and feel that they belong through companionship. We have a goal we want to achieve. We have the passion to achieve it.

All of those were compressed into a single word of vision and purpose—YATHILARA. More than a federation name, Yathilara is the aspiration waiting to be fulfilled. Yathilara is the sixteen executive officers who served in the JPIA. Yathilara is the adviser who supported JPIA. Yathilara is the 244 members who made everything possible.

And now, we proudly say that YATHILARA, the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - DFCAMCLP, is the Outstanding Local Chapter and the 3rd Most Active Local Chapter in the Philippines.

These achievements have always been a result of collaboration of JPIAns, from the executive officers to its members, from the previous years up to now. The previous federations showed us the way. Our Executive Officers led with the courage to dream and the passion to build a legacy. Our Associates served with dedication. Our Adviser guided us. Our sponsors and donors supported our vision. Our members made history with JPIA.

Our 100% NFJPIA Membership Rate, every event conducted, quiz bee participations, sports and e-sports competitions, initiatives, seminars—all of it led us here. All of you brought us here.

Thank you so much to everyone who became part of the success of JPIA-DFCAMCLP. If there's anything I am wishing for JPIA after all this, it's that all of you are proud of everything we achieved this year. Because for Yathilara, this is exactly the trail of brilliance we wanted to build and the tale of aspirations we wanted to tell.
