UPHSD College of Dentistry The Doctor of Dental Medicine Program is a six-year program consisting of basic science, clinical science and community dentistry courses.

In line with the schoolโ€™s advisory and to prioritize everyoneโ€™s safety while supporting continued learning, classes for ALL LEVELS will be conducted through Synchronous or Asynchronous Modalities this afternoon, September 9, 2026.

Students who may be unable to attend due to the weather are encouraged to inform their respective teachers or professors and coordinate accordingly.

๐Ÿšจ HARD HAT LAUNCH & SECOND ENRICHMENT SEMINAR DONE! ๐Ÿซก๐Ÿฆท

The Dentistry Student Council successfully conducted its 2nd Enrichment Seminar yesterday, September 3, 2026, featuring โ€œQUAKE READY: Earthquake Safety and Emergency Preparedness Seminar.โ€

Led by Engr. Alvin P. Santos, the Homeroom Officers of DMD 1โ€“6 gained important knowledge on earthquake safety, emergency preparedness, and the proper response during emergency situations.

The session also covered responding to potential threats and intruders, highlighting the importance of staying alert and knowing the proper actions to take during unexpected situations within the school.

Along with the seminar, yesterday also marked the launch of our emergency hard hats, which are placed in each classroom for easy access during an earthquake or other emergency situations.

This initiative is part of our effort to strengthen preparedness and promote safety within the College of Dentistry. By having emergency hard hats readily available in every room, we hope to provide our students and faculty with an additional layer of protection and remind everyone that preparedness starts with being equipped and ready.

The Dentistry Student Council successfully conducted its First Enrichment Seminar today, September 2, featuring a Restorative Dentistry Hands-On Clinical Workshop for DMD 5 & 6 clinicians.

Led by Dr. Sean Benson T. Sia, the session explored โ€œSimplified Direct Composite Restorations: Layer Less, Restore More,โ€ giving our clinicians the opportunity to learn practical techniques and put their restorative skills to the test using supranano-spherical filler technology.
