In 2021, when the pandemic hit, I started Bloom to pursue my dream of having my own business. We began by selling scented candles and other home essentials such as dishwashing liquid, hand soap, and similar products. At first, we sold only 2–5 candles per week, but eventually this grew to 10–15 candles per day.

Later on, we started offering souvenirs. What began with just one client slowly reached more people through word of mouth. By May 2021, our business reached its peak. We sold a large volume of candles and home essentials, and our net income exceeded ₱100,000. Business remained strong until the end of the year.
As 2022 began, Bloom helped cover our wedding expenses and even supported our monthly house payments.

However, when August 2022 came, sales started to decline as workers and students returned to face-to-face work and classes. Despite this, the business was still able to sustain our expenses.

Bloom continued operating until I started working in late 2024. At that point, the business went on hiatus, and we only offered souvenir items during the Christmas season.

As we started planning our family’s future for 2026, my dream of reviving Bloom came back—this time with a focus on souvenirs. So today, I’m happy to share that Bloom is officially reopening.

We will once again offering scented candles, along with room and linen sprays, as we begin this new chapter of our journey.
