Earlier today, September 3, 2026, Pilar Village Elementary School successfully conducted the Nationwide Simultaneous Drill on Active Threats Incident to ensure the safety, readiness, and resilience of our school community.
With 808 participants—including 727 brave learners, 50 committed school personnel, 6 SPTA representatives, 2 PVHAI Officers and 23 barangay officers—our campus practiced crucial emergency response protocols. From executing the Lockdown Drill Framework (Lockout -Lockdown [Hide - Silence and Conceal]) to carrying out an orderly evacuation to the PVHAI Multipurpose Hall, our learners and staff demonstrated exceptional discipline and composure.
*A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS & COMMUNITY LEADERS!*
A drill of this scale is only possible through strong collaboration and unity. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who played a vital role in making this activity safe and successful:
*Barangay Pilar Council headed by Capt. Ronillo B. Fuentes
*Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Team - Kag. Bok Tugano and Mr. Eric Mapula for guiding our lockdown drill on active threats and signaling a safe evacuation.
*Barangay Pilar SK Council and Asenso Kabataan for facilitating Psychological First Aid (PFA) for our participants post-evacuation with our PFA Lead and Incident Commander Mrs. Marie Joy L. Francisco (School Head)
*School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Officers for their unwavering support and active involvement in keeping our children safe.
*Pilar Village Homeowners Association, Inc. (PVHAI) Officers for graciously hosting our reunification site at the PVHAI Multipurpose Hall.
Together, we continue to build a safer, more prepared learning environment for every child. Standard evaluation and recommendations from our After-Action Review will be implemented continuously to strengthen our school safety measures.
