tungkol sa mga “virtual threat” at kumakalat na video na kinasasangkutan ng ilang mag–aaral

Ang Tanggapan ng Sangay ng mga Paaralan ng Lungsod ng Las Piñas ay kinokondena ang anumang uri ng banta, pananakot, at pagpapakalat ng mga hindi angkop na mensahe o video na nagdudulot ng panganib at/o takot sa mga mag-aaral at sa buong pamayanan ng paaralan.

Aming nabatid ang kumakalat na video na naglalaman ng pagbabanta sa kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o kung kaya’t ang aming Tanggapan ay agad na nakipag-ugnayan sa pakikipagtulungan ng mga Punong-g**o sa barangay, kapulisan, PNP Cyber Crime Group, at Bahay Pag-asa upang matugunan at maaksyonan ang insidenteng ito alinsunod sa umiiral na mga regulasyon ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon, particular ang DepEd Order 6, s. 2026 (Guidelines on Ensuring A Safe and Motivating Learning Environment).

Bukod pa rito, alinsunod sa DepEd Order 7, s. 2026, (Media Management Guidelines) at sa Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), mahigpit naming ipinapaalala sa publiko na iwasan ang pagbabahagi, pagpapasa (re-sharing), o pagkokopya ng anumang video sa mga pampubliko o digital na mga platform, upang mapangalagaan ang karapatan, dignidad, at mental na kalusugan ng mga sangkot na menor de edad.

Sa huli, sinisig**o ng SDO Las Piñas ang pagpapatupad ng mga protocol sa seguridad at pagrepaso sa access control sa paaralan upang matiyak na mananatiling ligtas at payapa ang kapaligiran ng pagkatuto.

CLASS SUSPENSION & ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODE (ADM)
July 10, 2026 (Friday)

Pursuant to the official announcement of the City Government of Las Piñas, classes at all levels (public and private schools) are SUSPENDED today, July 10, 2026, due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Typhoon Inday.

In line with DepEd's Level 2 – SLOW DOWN Protocol, Las Piñas East National High School will implement the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). While face-to-face classes are suspended, learning will continue through home-based learning activities. Academic tasks will be adjusted and minimized based on the current situation, with the safety, health, and well-being of all learners and personnel as the top priority.

Students and parents are advised to wait for the official instructions from their subject teachers regarding learning activities and schedules.

📢 ADVISORY | NEW DEPED GUIDELINES ON LEARNING CONTINUITY DURING CALAMITIES AND EMERGENCIES

In line with DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, the Department of Education has issued the Guidelines on Learning Continuity in Emergencies to ensure that every learner remains safe while education continues through appropriate and flexible learning approaches during calamities, disasters, and other emergency situations.

The policy emphasizes the principle:

"Patuloy ang Pagkatuto. Ligtas ang Bawat Isa."

Key Highlights of the New Guidelines

📍 1. Localized and Targeted Class Suspension School Heads are now authorized to implement localized or granular class suspensions based on the actual conditions in their schools or communities. Only affected classes, grade levels, or school buildings may be suspended when necessary, instead of automatically suspending an entire division.

📚 2. Flexible Learning Modalities When face-to-face classes cannot be conducted safely, schools may shift to appropriate learning delivery modalities such as: • Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) • Modular Distance Learning • Online Learning • TV/Radio-Based Instruction • Other flexible learning approaches suited to the needs of learners

🎯 3. Four-Level Emergency Response Framework Learning delivery will depend on the severity of the emergency:

🟢 HAYO (Proceed) – Regular classes or the selected learning modality continue when conditions are safe.

🟡 HINAY (Slow Down) – Academic requirements and workloads are adjusted to lessen the burden on learners affected by the emergency.

🟠 HINGA (Breathe) – Priority is given to mental health, psychosocial support, wellness check-ins, and learner well-being.

🔴 HINTO (Stop) – Academic activities are temporarily suspended when safety, health, and survival needs must take priority.

🤝 4. Shared Responsibility The successful implementation of these guidelines requires the cooperation of School Heads, Schools Division Offices, teachers, school personnel, parents, learners, and community partners.
