In observance of Philippine Independence Day, there will be no classes and no office operations on June 12, 2026 (Friday). Regular classes and office transactions will resume on the next working day.

June 10, 2026, the Aviation Student Council (AvSC) had the opportunity to meet with our Aviation Dean, Ms. Joi Lozano, together with the Supreme Student Council (SSC), to discuss plans, initiatives, and opportunities that will further enhance the student experience within our university community.

This productive meeting highlighted the importance of unity, communication, and shared commitment in serving the student body. We are grateful for the guidance and support of our Dean and the collaboration with the SSC as we continue to work towards meaningful projects and programs for our fellow students.

Today in Philippine history, June 10, 1923, Neptali Gonzales, a former Senate President, was born in San Felipe Neri, Rizal.

Gonzales was a prominent figure in Philippine politics, law, and education, recognized for his intellect, compassion, and unwavering commitment to public service.

He served as Senate President of the Philippines during three separate terms: 1992 to 1993, 1995 to 1996, and 1998.

Throughout his years in governance, he made significant contributions to the country's laws and social development.

After his final term as Senate President and Senator on June 30, 1998, Gonzales moved into the private sector, becoming President and Publisher of the Manila Bulletin and a member of its Board of Directors.

He passed away on September 16, 2001, at the age of 78 due to heart failure at the Makati Medical Center.
