Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP) – Division-Level Evaluation

Yesterday, Casiklan Elementary School welcomed the GPP Division-Level Evaluation Team for the assessment of our school garden and GPP initiatives.

We are truly grateful for the support and partnership of our Barangay Officials, led by our Barangay Captain, Hon. Gregorio G.Buntag Jr. who took part in the planning and provided essential garden tools to help strengthen our GPP initiatives. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our SPTA Officials for their continued support and involvement in our school garden program. 🤝

Thank you to our evaluators, teachers, learners, parents, barangay partners, SPTA, and everyone who contributed to making our Gulayan sa Paaralan Program productive and sustainable.

Together, we continue to cultivate not only a garden, but also partnership, responsibility, and a culture of healthy and sustainable living in our school community.

SUPPORTING TEACHERS THROUGH USEFUL TEACHING TOOLS

For the safety and protection of our learners, Casiklan Central Elementary School started implementing the use of a metal detector/scanner at the school entrance last Monday to help detect metal objects and potentially dangerous or sharp items.

Our School Principal, Ma'am Cheryl Laurente together with our school personnel and Barangay Tanod, is taking an active role in ensuring a safe, secure, and child-friendly learning environment for everyone.

Safety first. Because every child deserves to learn in a safe school. ❤️

Due to dangerous heat conditions, Casiklan Elementary School will implement Conditional Home-Based Asynchronous Learning beginning 1:00 PM today, August 13, 2026, until August 14, 2026, subject to daily reassessment.

This measure is for the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel while ensuring learning continuity.

Please stay safe, stay hydrated, and follow the given learning activities. ☀️💧

Casiklan Elementary School proudly conducted a post-observance celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week, bringing together our SNED learners in meaningful activities that promoted inclusion, respect, friendship, and equal opportunities for all.

Through advocacy, coloring, talent sharing, and snack sharing, our learners celebrated their unique abilities and demonstrated that every child deserves to learn, participate, and belong in an inclusive school community.

Together, let us continue to uphold the rights of persons with disabilities and remember: Every Learner Matters. Every Ability Counts. 🌈💙
