LINGAW Club in Action!

Last September 25, 2026 the LINGAW Club once again proved its commitment to stewardship and volunteerism by actively joining the Siquijor State College Clean-up Drive.

With pride and unity our members gladly took part in cleaning the school premises showcasing not only responsibility but also the true spirit of LINGAW service excellence and care for the environment.

This success was made possible through the relentless leadership of our Club Adviser Dr. Menie J. Dagala, whose guidance continues to inspire Lingawers to serve with dedication and heart l.

Kudos to all Lingawers who stepped up with teamwork and passion.

Prepare for what’s coming, Lingawers!

The Lingaw Club has long stood as a home for creativity, excellence, and unity, celebrating milestones that inspire and uplift every member. Over the years, Lingawers have continuously inspired one another through meaningful and dynamic activities, whether it be the Presentations and Performances that showcased craftsmanship and wit, the Lingaw Wednesday presentations that uplifted the Lingaw spirit and strengthened camaraderie, or the clean up drives that nurtured environmental awareness and responsibility among LINGAWERS. Each initiative has left a mark, reminding us that Lingaw is not just a club, but a movement of passion and purpose.

Today, we turn a new page in our journey. A fresh set of officers now steps forward, ready to continue the legacy and carry the torch of creativity, unity, and excellence. With perseverance, grace, and an unwavering commitment to service, they are prepared to lead Lingawers toward another year of growth, achievement, and holistic development.

Together with their sophisticated and dedicated club adviser Dr. Menie J. Dagala, their shared leadership is not only a continuation of the legacy but also a promise of new horizons, where every Lingawer can shine, contribute, and soar.

As we embrace this new chapter, we stand together as one family of Linguaphiles, united by our shared vision and boundless energy. Here’s to another year of creativity, achievement, and holistic growth.

Today, we proudly celebrate your remarkable achievement and the dedication, perseverance, and passion that brought you to this moment. Your success reflects not only your academic excellence but also the countless lessons, experiences, and memories you have gathered throughout your journey.

As you take your next steps as English teachers, we hope that everything LINGAW has taught you, from the love of literature, language, arts, and writing to the values of service, leadership, and camaraderie, will continue to guide you in shaping young minds and inspiring future generations. Leadership is not just about leading. It is about listening, serving, and making every student feel heard. ✨

Meet JENNIVEV JUMAWAN, aspiring SG President and a proud LINGAWer who believes that creativity, expression, and unity can bring students together.

From being a consistent With Honors student during SHS (2023–2024), serving as SSG Secretary, and now as BSED English II Treasurer, Jennivev has shown dedication, responsibility, and commitment in every role she takes.

She is also certified in Events Management Services NC III and became part of Himamat Peace Camp 2023 with the theme:
“Kabataan: Gumising, Bumangon at Makiisa sa Paglikha ng Mapayapang Bukas.”

As a member of the Literature, English, Arts, and Writing (LINGAW) Club, she understands the importance of giving students a voice through leadership, creativity, and meaningful experiences that make school life more engaging and memorable.
