The meeting formally started with a short prayer, asking for guidance and a productive discussion for the batch’s upcoming activities.
1. Follow-up on Batch T-Shirts
The group talked about the current status of the batch t-shirts.
Updates on the production and distribution will continue to be followed up and shared with the batch once available.
2. Plans for the Upcoming Alumni Homecoming
A. Community Involvement Program
The batch agreed to hold an Adopt-a-School Program as part of the alumni homecoming activities.
The selected beneficiary is Caw-oy Elementary School in Olango Island.
The activity is planned to be conducted before the opening of School Year 2026–2027.
The batch will be accepting cash and in-kind donations, with suggested items including:
o Notebooks (80 leaves)
o Pencils or ballpens
o Bond papers
All batch members are encouraged to participate and contribute in any way they can.

B. Alumni Homecoming Night

It was agreed that the batch will join the Alumni Association’s Gala Night on the evening of the homecoming.
The batch also plans to set up a snack and bar corner during the event for added enjoyment and fellowship.

3. Batch Gala Night Venue Options
The following venues and rates were presented for consideration:
Dusit Thani – PHP 1,800 per head (net)

Tambuli Beach Resort
o PHP 1,600 per head (net)
o PHP 1,900 per head (net) with use of the resort pool and beach
o
Solea – PHP 1,500 per head (net)

The final venue will be decided based on the consensus of the batch.
4. Other Matters
A. Fundraising Activity
A Cake Raffle was proposed as a fundraising activity during the homecoming.
Raffle tickets will be sold at PHP 5.00 each.

The batch will look for cake donors to help make the activity successful.

B. Batch Donations
Batch 2006 alumni who wish to support the success of the homecoming activities are encouraged to donate.

Interested members may coordinate with their respective section representatives.
C. Next Discussions
The program flow for the Batch Gala Night will be discussed in a future meeting.

Other important matters, including decisions on fund allocation, will also be taken up in the next discussions.

P.S. Our next batch huddle is coming up, and everyone is welcome to join. Those who would like to participate are free to attend, no pressure at all—just come if you’re available and interested.
