In recent weeks, topics about tensions in the Middle East have grown louder. Analysts discuss oil routes, supply chains, and the ripple effects of conflict on the global economy. Those discussions often sound distant, as if they belong only in newsrooms or policy briefings. Yet the reality is much closer to home. The effects of conflict thousands of kilometers away slowly appear in places people feel most โ market stalls, fuel pumps, transportation fares, and the monthly bills waiting on the kitchen table.
When prices climb, governments and economic agencies usually recognize the cause quickly. They point to rising oil costs, disrupted trade, and inflation spreading across markets. The explanation is straightforward: when energy becomes more expensive, almost everything else follows. Food costs increase. Transport fares grows. Electricity and fuel prices skyrocket. The chain reaction is familiar, and the government understand it well.
But while rising prices are quickly acknowledged, the response toward workers often seems slower.
A pattern has become difficult to ignore. When large companies request incentives, tax adjustments, or regulatory support, decisions often move swiftly. Meetings are arranged, policies are discussed, and approvals appear not long after. Businesses argue that such measures keep the economy stable, and sometimes that may be true.
Yet the contrast becomes clearer when workers ask for something far more basic: a small increase in wages to keep pace with the rising cost of living.
Instead of urgency, the usual response becomes a familiar phrase: the matter will be studied.
Careful analysis is important in policymaking. Governments must review data, consider consequences, and weigh economic factors. But there are moments when the situation is already obvious to those living through it. Workers feel it when the same salary buys fewer groceries each week. Commuters notice it when transportation costs slowly consume what used to be spare income. Families recognize it when budgets shrink and necessities begin to compete with one another.

When wages remain unchanged while prices steadily rise, the burden does not fall equally. Wealthier households may adjust their spending. Large companies may shift strategies or prices. But low-income workers rarely have those options. They absorb the impact directly, often without recognition.
This is why conversations about wages are not merely technical debates. They are questions about fairness and responsibility.
A nationโs economic progress should not be measured only by corporate growth or financial indicators. It should also consider whether the people who sustain the economy can continue to live with dignity. Workers drive public transport, harvest crops, build infrastructure, and serve communities in countless ways. Their efforts keep daily life functioning.
If the economy grows while their living conditions remain frozen, the meaning of progress becomes unclear.
The point is not to oppose business interests or deny the importance of economic stability. Companies and workers both contribute to a functioning economy. But balance matters. When support moves quickly in one direction while hesitation slows the other, frustration inevitably grows.
At its core, the situation reflects a simple truth: when the cost of living increases, the people with the least financial protection feel the effects first.
Policy responses should reflect that reality.

Because rising prices are no longer a predictionโthey are already part of everyday life.
The real question now is whether the response will protect those who need it most.

"The fate of the innocent girls who were victims of the Epstein files is tragic." As I scroll, this is the statement that keeps appearing on my screen. What exactly are the Epstein files? What do they reveal about what happened to these young girls?
Epstein files are a large collection of documents and evidence about Jeffrey Epstein. It was later gathered and discovered by the police and reported in 2005. It was presented by the US government court in 2024. Who is Jeffrey Epstein? He is an American wealthy financier who became widely known because of serious criminal accusations involving the exploitation of minors. He is accused of managing a large s*x trafficking network in the New York, Florida, and private islands areas. Over time, he became connected with many powerful and famous individuals in business, politics, and entertainment. He died in 2019 in prison while waiting in jail.
One of the most disturbing parts of the Epstein files is the testimony of the
victims. Many of the girls involved were minors who were manipulated or pressured into situations they did not fully understand. Some were recruited by people connected to Epstein and were promised money, opportunities, or help, only to later become victims of exploitation. Because they were young and vulnerable, many of them were afraid to speak out for years. The document has revealed how wealthy and powerful Epstein is, and for many years, critics argued that the justice system did not fully hold him accountable. It has additional documents related to Epstein files that were unsealed by the US Courtโthe files are confidential testimonies and evidence and also have witness statements.

Respect is not something difficult to learnโit is the simplest form of human decency. And when a person truly understands decency, they also recognize the strength, intelligence, and capability that women carry. Women are capable of anything, yet the respect they deserve should never depend on their choices, background, or circumstances. Respect should exist not because women have to prove their worth, but because dignity is a right every human being already has. No woman should ever have to plead for something that should naturally be given.

As a new day emerges, and the date's number changes, Valentine's day brings love to the fullest. Valentines day is a celebration among couples who like to express their love not only with actions, but also with gifts. It is a day where love is greatly emphasized, seen, and heard.
SSLG (Supreme Secondary Learner Government), brought love to the next level! As they planned the events throughout the day of love, thanks to their idea that led students to express themselves with colored shirts, with each color holding different status. Each student participated as the school was filled with abundant colors.
The freedom wall, and the photobooth really was the main spotlight. Couples and singles swarmed the booths, sticky notes quickly ran out. The freedom wall was filled with different emotions and words, some expressing their love for a certain someone, some were not. The sound of pictures ignited the gymnasium. As the photobooth was filled with couples and friends that want to express their love on social media.

Why is Eros so unfair? Why does love arrive like something forbiddenโlike a door slightly open, but never meant for my hand to push? Every time I encounter it, it feels distant and hopeless. Am I not ready for it? Or does it simply refuse to choose me?
It began quietly, almost innocently. I found myself looking at someone I already knew I could never have. There was no dramatic beginningโjust a slow awareness, like realizing youโve been staring at the moon for too long. I had no choice but to admire. Not because I was hoping to reach it, but because distance feels safer. The moon is beautiful, so beautiful. But touching it needs things I don't have.
So I told myself I would only admire.
Like the moon in the night sky, I would watch until dawn. I would trace its movements with my eyes, memorize its design, and accept that when the sun rises, it disappears. Some beauties are only visible in the dark. Some feelings are only meant to shape a person in pain.
Sometimes I talk to the mirror, trying to see my own reflection. I tell myself the truthโthere is no hope. Not even a fraction. I even try to slap myself back into reality, as if pain could awaken me from wanting something impossible.
But my heart is dumb.
It clings to a 1% chance of probability, like holding on to a single thread. Maybe I am too ambitiousโtoo foolishโto believe that Eros might one day notice me. That love might pause, look down, and choose my name.
Maybe stopping is better than waiting.
Yet I remain there, watching the moon even when it rains. I know it can only make me sickโthe cold, the longing, the endless waitingโbut I stay. Because love, they say, is a choice. I try to choose otherwise. I try to close my eyes, to turn away, to stop the pulse in my chest.
But my heart betrays me every time my eyes find you.
It beats like it has forgotten all logic. It assumes as if it still believes in impossible things โ delulu. I whisper to myself gently, pleading to stop, for my dignity, for peaceโbut desire is louder than reason.

Grade transmutation is created with good intentionsโto help students pass, soften the aftermath of difficult exams, and basically turning the grade into somewhat more acceptable. Many call it a system of standarizing, the "fixer" of grades. But is it really a help or does it slowly destroy the standard of education and our viewpoint of success?
When raw grade is transformed into a higher final grade, it prioritizes the quantity of the students who get high grades over the quality of the students understanding. It makes a lot of "almost made it" into "barely made it", receiving a recognition of with honors or with high honors. Though it seems good especially because of the satisfaction it gives, but it makes the students think they understand the lessons thoroughly to earn such a title while in reality, it's quite oppositeโa distribution of a title to learners while the learning is descending.
Without the transmutation of grades, the medals and certificates will be the verification of a student's excellence in learning. An actual reflection of their level of understanding, and not just something they receive because of transmuting. Additionally, students will be more aware and responsible of their learning knowing it will directly affect their grade, stopping the reliance on the "fixer" and acknowledge accountability.

Since misinformation spreads faster than the truth, the need for education has never been more imperative. Social media is where one can find what is viral, loud, and attention-grabbing, not what is true. As a result, people read posts and headlines without verifying the facts, and opinions are formed on rumors, not facts. This is where education must intervene, not only to teach a lesson but to teach thinking.
Schools should train students to question what they see, read beyond captions, and verify before sharing information. Memorizing facts isnโt the only thing in education, it is about learning how to differentiate truth and deception.
