𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝑲𝒀𝑳𝑰𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒐𝒏: 𝑳𝒖𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏, 𝑯𝒊𝒎𝒔𝒐𝒈 𝒏𝒈𝒂 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒃𝒂𝒏💚

The Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme is the highest recognition awarded by the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) to Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts who demonstrate 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 and 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 through a year-long community development project. It challenges young women to become 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 by addressing the needs of their communities through sustainable initiatives.

With this vision in mind, I am proudly introducing 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐘𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐨𝐧: 𝐋𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧, 𝐇𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐠 𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐧, my official community development project under the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme. Rooted in the belief that 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, this initiative seeks to improve the 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝, 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮, and 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 who continue to live without adequate toilet facilities.

The project will support selected households in 📍 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐤 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐠, 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐮-𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐮 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 by constructing sanitary comfort rooms that provide families with a 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙧, 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙧, and 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚'𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨. Beyond building facilities, this initiative hopes to create a lasting impact by 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙮𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙚, 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣-𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨, and 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡-𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮.

Every great leader starts with the courage to learn, serve, and grow.

Today marks the beginning of our Patrol Leaders Camp Permit Course (PLCPC) Camping, where we continue to develop the values and skills of leadership, teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and service that define every Girl Scout.

From fun and challenging activities that tested our determination to ending the day gathered around the campfire, every moment reminded us that great leaders are built through perseverance, cooperation, and resilience.
