What is Modern Practical Aikido?
Ans. It is a Martial art style developed and founded by a young Filipino Martial artist in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines.
The style and discipline is focuses on the practical self-defense side. It is a combination of various styles like Aikido & Grappling (Judo & Jiujitsu) to form an effective multifunctional self-defense Martial arts system from standing to ground fighting. It has also practical defense against kicking, knife, gun and different armed weaponries. The Modern Practical Aikido is aim to put an another new "FMA" or Filipino Martial Art system and style in this modern times.
The discipline has an influenced of both Traditional & Modern Aikido.
Modern Practical Aikido is recently established in the early months of 2024 and previously named as Aikido Lapu-Lapu Club.

It is better to have a chance to defend yourself against lawless elements nowadays than nothing.

We have (2) two sessions/training in a week Wednesday & Sunday.
Central Dojo is located at the Brgy Calawisan, Lapu-Lapu City.
