CLASS ADVISORY | FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2025

Due to the weather conditions brought about by Tropical Depression Wilma and in line with the official announcement from the City Mayor suspending face-to-face classes (see announcement here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17qnYiWxdJ/), CCL CentrEx will implement the following learning modalities this Friday, December 5, 2025:

PRESCHOOL (Nursery to Kinder 2)
Asynchronous Learning
Teachers will provide learning tasks and instructions through the usual online platforms.

GRADES 1 to 12
Remote Synchronous Learning
Students are expected to attend their online classes according to their regular schedules.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, remain indoors as much as possible, and monitor updates from the LGU and school channels. Your safety is always our priority.

WELCOME BACK, CENTREXIANS!

Following the class suspension brought about by Super Typhoon Uwan and Typhoon Tino, we are pleased to announce that face-to-face classes for ALL LEVELS at CCL CentrEx will officially resume on November 12, 2025 (Wednesday)!

As we return to school, we would also like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to all families and communities who were affected by the typhoons. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who experienced damage, loss, and hardship. May recovery and support reach you quickly.

We are grateful that our CentrEx family stayed safe, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus with renewed hope, strength, and unity.

CCL CentrEx Advisory
Class Suspension – November 10 & 11, 2025

Following Memorandum Circular No. 106 from the Office of the President and the announcement of the Lapu-Lapu City Mayor, CCL CentrEx will suspend all classes on November 10 and 11, 2025 due to the expected effects of Super Typhoon “Uwan.”

We urge all CentrExians to prioritize safety, stay indoors, and monitor official updates from authorities.
Further announcements will be posted on our official channels.

Resumption of Regular Face-to-Face Classes for all levels

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Following the official announcement of the City Mayor of Lapu-Lapu, face-to-face classes will remain suspended from October 20 (Monday) to October 24 (Friday) to ensure the continued safety of our students and school community.

During this extended period, CCL CentrEx will continue implementing the following learning modalities:
🔹 Grades 1 to 12 – Online synchronous classes via MS Teams
🔹 Preschool – Asynchronous learning using books and worksheets at home

For Grades 1 to 12, students are reminded to:
✔️ Follow the class schedule provided by their teachers
✔️ Wear proper attire and attend classes in a quiet, distraction-free space
✔️ Keep cameras on during class and mute microphones unless speaking
✔️ Use the chatroom only for class-related discussions

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Transition to Online and Asynchronous Learning (October 13–17)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

To help ease the mental and emotional stress caused by the recent recurring earthquakes, we will be shifting to alternative learning modalities from October 13 (Monday) to October 17 (Friday):
🔹 Grades 1 to 12 will transition to online synchronous classes.
🔹 Preschool will shift to asynchronous learning and continue their lessons at home using books and worksheets.

For Grades 1 to 12, students are reminded to:

Follow the class schedule provided by their teachers.
Be prepared, wear proper attire, and attend classes in a quiet, distraction-free space.
Keep cameras on during class and mute microphones unless speaking.
Use the chatroom only for class-related discussions.

Preschool Learning Materials may be picked up at school on Monday, October 13. We will notify you of the exact time to ensure an organized and safe process.

Preschool Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) will proceed as scheduled. If you have safety concerns or prefer to reschedule, please contact your child’s teacher.

Field trips interrupted by the earthquake will be postponed to a later date.
