OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE RESUMPTION OF CLASSES

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Greetings of Peace and Love from Benthel Asia School of Technology, Inc.!
Together, we will stand and will remain to hold on to our faith. Always remember that "The Gift of Life is a Joy, Forever".

We would like to inform you that there will be an adjustment of the School Calendar of Activities for SY: 2021-2022, in lieu of the devastation brought to us by Typhoon Odette. Power Supply and Internet Connection were affected disrupting our Online Classes.

Rest assured that we will facilitate the learning needs of our learners to meet the requirements set by the Department of Education.

Resumption of classes will be possible as soon as the Power Supply and the Internet Connection will be in place.

The Class Advisers have sent information about the changes of the School Calendar in the respective Group Chats of the Learners and Parents. Please don't hesitate to ask for your clarification and guidance.

Requesting our dear Benthelian Learners, Parents/Guardians, Relatives and Friends from Pre-School to Senior High School especially those who are until now doesn't have electricity and Internet connection to please help us disseminate this information. Your help is indeed appreciated.

Happy Father's Day to all Benthelian Daddies 🙆‍♂️😎👨😍

In our current situation wherein we are facing the challenge against the pandemic, it is very important to show our care and love for each other by also keeping our faith in God. As an organization, we are encouraging the BAST learners to create their own Benthelian Reflections concerning the battle that we are in.

We encourage the Benthelian community to post a message/verse on their timelines or may it be in a creative way (through a video message, song, poem, spoken poetry, poster, slogan, and the like). Also include the hashtags and , don't forget to put the word BENTHELIANS in your post, and tag the BAST SSG page.

Through this simple way of showing our concern, we will be able to inspire the world.
Let us fight in unity because we are all in this together!

Come and join us as BAST Celebrates FoundTrams 2020 with the theme: "BAST @14: Empowering the Benthelians' Spirit through Dances, Sports and various School Activities." 💖

02.26-29.2020

FoundTrams is the most awaited event of this school year: 2019-2020, with the theme: "BAST @14: Empowering the Benthelians' Spirit through Dances, Sports and various School Activities." It is a four day celebration, starting from 26th to 29th of February 2020.

There will be 5 teams competing in this year's FoundTrams. These are the Golden-Yellow Jaguars, Green Wolves, Red Phoenix, Blue Valerians and Black Puma. They will compete in Sports, E-Sports, Dance, Extemporaneous Speech and Quiz Bee. There are also other recreational contests like BAST Got Talent, Cosplay, Larong Pinoy, KIddielympics, K-Pop Look A-like and Tala Dance Challenge. In each win, the team will receive points and will be added to their overall score. The team with the biggest number of GOLD will win and will be acknowledged by the end of the celebration.

There will also be a Family Fun Run this coming February 29, 2020. Everyone can join the Family Fun Run, but of course it is more fun if we run with our beloved family and friends.

In celebrating the FoundTrams, we commemorate the humble beginnings of our school and celebrate sportsmanship. This year's FoundTrams will be worth reminiscing and memorable for all Benthelians...

BAST BATTLE OF THE BANDS

The Philippine education does not only focus on the intellectual capacity of the students. Music and arts are also a priority. As a proof, there are a lot of students that qualify and excel in national and even international singing contests. They are one of the inspirations of our students who want to engage themselves in music. This is also a good example of teamwork and develops a good camaraderie between students and the school.

The BAST Battle of the Bands will be held at the BAST field, February 14, 2020 (Valentine's Day), after the
morning assembly.

MECHANICS:
***Each band must have a minimum of 3(three) and maximum of 6(six) members, including the instrumentalists. (Members from different strand, grade levels, and sections are allowed).
***A band must have their band name as an identity.
***Each band must provide their OWN musical instruments.
***The band will be given maximum of 7 minutes on stage. 1 minute to set-up, another 1 minute to exit, and maximum 5 minutes to perform.
***The band's presentation MUST NOT include any profanities (SPG, etc.) or must not exceed a PG-13 rating.
***The band may show their creativity upon their arrangement. Own compositions will do.
***The competition's winners will be declared and awarded as the BAST Battle of the Bands 2020 Champion, 2nd Placer, and the 3rd placer accordingly.
***Registration will start on February 12-13, 2020.
***Registration fee of Php 20.00 only.
Just approach: Maegan Tidoso or Frolyne Diano (12 ABM- Aventurine) at the Science Laboratory beside the old canteen.

UNIFORM EXEMPTION

Valentine’s Day is a day of love, friendship, and socialization. Simple things as color coding in t-shirts provides the students excitement and fun especially that it's the day after exams. Students can relax, enjoy, and get together.

We suggest that the students of BAST, Inc. wear the following colored t-shirts:
