Brooms are swaying, rugs are sliding, and even the sound of sacks being gathered is extremely exciting. The school is waiting for the STECians to start cleaning!

As a new school year is just around the corner, STECians are happier than ever to welcome and begin the Brigada Eskwela 2023 with the theme: "Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan." STEC - Senior High School, along with the Elementary and Junior High School departments, kick-off started this year's Brigada Eskwela 2023 with teamwork and enthusiastic hands, ready to achieve the goals of a strong school community. The celebration was joined by all of the teachers, parents, volunteers, and selected students who were eager and energetic to move their bodies along with the beat of the music and thought of cleaning.
The senior high school students of STEC will officially start their Brigada Eskwela from August 14, 2023 to August 19, 2023, according to the schedules they will be given by their respective advisers.

Lindy Zalan Jimenez Aviles, a graduate from batch 2018 of STEC, ranked 1st in the OTRP or Occupational Therapist Registered Philippines Board Exams which was announced last December 2, 2022 by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Congratulations, Ms. Lindy! You are truly an inspiration for everyone to trust the process and everything will surely fall into place. The whole STEC Community is so proud of you!

Jinky Nobleza Balaod, a graduate from Science and Technology Education Center, Class of 2018, placed 7th in the Customs Broker Licensure Examination (CBLE). The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on November 8, 2022.

Taking the first step to climbing all the way to the peaks of success, Balaod shows that your hard work and dedication will eventually bear fruit in the future. A huge congratulations to Ms. Jinky for passing the CBLE. You serve as an example to others and a benchmark to all aspiring students. The whole STEC Community congratulates you! Padayon STECians!!! Congratulations 🥳🤩

STEC Senior High School’s Kairos David B. Obregon and Guian Eric S. Lanuza bagged the second runner-up spot for the Canvas Art Making Contest and the first runner-up spot for the Photoessay contest at the 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗢𝗖𝗨𝗦: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 by the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. The national competitions were held virtually via Zoom on October 14 and 15, 2022.

IECEP Cebu Chapter was also represented by Kenjie Clint S. Lumongsod, Kleer Heart G. Miole, and Frenchie S. Napoles for the Technology Innovation Challenge.

The students were coached by Mrs. Zsarina Grace G. Brañanola.

LOOK: Glenn John Degamon from Grade 12-STEM Atom is a Bronze Medal Awardee of the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad 2022 during the Final Round.

The competition was held via Eklavvya, a virtual platform, last August 28, 2022 with 16 countries that competed in the said event.

Degamon is the only representative of Lapu-Lapu City for this competition. Last October 2, 2022, the winners were announced at their official Facebook group page, Math Olympiads Training League Inc. - MOTLI and in their YouTube channel, Olympiad Champion Education Centre.

The institution would like to give its deepest gratitude to the Lapu-Lapu City Government through Mayor Junard Ahong Chan for providing his unending financial support towards this brilliant student; his contribution boosted the success of this entire endeavor.

With his coach, Mrs. June Myth Montealto, the STEC Senior High School family would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you, Mr. Degamon for a job well done!
