Gun-ob Elementary School successfully conducted its SPTA General Assembly, Ceremonial Turnover of School Supplies from the Lapu-Lapu City Government, and the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected SPTA and SELG Officers. The event was attended by parents, teachers, learners, and community leaders, all united in a shared commitment to support quality education and promote learner welfare.
The highlight of the gathering was the distribution of school supplies provided by the city government, reflecting its continued support in making education more accessible and helping ease the burden on families. The school community also witnessed the oath-taking of the newly elected SPTA and SELG officers, who pledged to serve with integrity, responsibility, and dedication.
The activity further strengthened the partnership among the school, families, learners, and the local government, emphasizing that when stakeholders work hand in hand, brighter opportunities and a better future for every child can be achieved.

🌟 GUN-OB ES, READY AND STRONG FOR S.Y. 2026-2027! 🌟
Day two of classes and Gun-ob Elementary It is only the second day of classes, but Gun-ob Elementary School has already brought immense pride to our community! Today, June 9, we happily and proudly welcomed our District 6 PSDS, Mrs. Czarina Ritzko J. Sagarino, and our Division's EPS for GMRC, Dr. Norman O. Ongco, for the official Opening Week Monitoring.
This visit stands as a true testament to the enthusiasm and thorough preparation of our entire school. From our clean, beautifully arranged classrooms to our thriving Gulayan sa Paaralan, the supervisors witnessed a smooth transition into daily routines and effective learning in action. Because of the exceptional readiness displayed by our dedicated teachers, Mrs. Sagarino officially recommended Gun-ob ES as one of the elite benchmarking schools in District 6 this coming June 16, 2026! 🏆✨
This success is the fruit of the heart and hard work poured in by our amazing faculty, paired with the vibrant, positive energy of our beloved learners. We are fully prepared and excited for a fruitful school year ahead!

Gun-ob Elementary School officially welcomed its learners on the first day of classes for School Year 2026–2027 through a simple yet meaningful opening program. The activity marked the beginning of another academic year filled with hope, excitement, and new learning opportunities for the students.
During the program, teachers were formally introduced to the learners, creating a warm and positive atmosphere for the start of classes. The school community expressed its commitment to guiding and supporting the learners throughout their educational journey as they begin another year of growth and discovery.

Gun-ob Elementary School successfully celebrated the Tara Basa Culmination Program on June 4, 2026, marking the completion of a meaningful literacy intervention that helped learners improve their reading skills and confidence.
The Tara Basa Program is a community-based literacy initiative that supports struggling readers through guided tutoring while engaging college students and youth volunteers in nation-building efforts.
The event recognized the dedication and achievements of our learners, teachers, parents, tutors, volunteers, and partners whose collective efforts made the program a success. It also highlighted the importance of collaboration in promoting literacy and inspiring children to become lifelong readers.

Gun-ob Elementary School successfully conducted the Culmination Program of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program on June 2, 2026, recognizing the hard work, dedication, and learning achievements of our participating learners.
The culmination program served as a celebration of the learners' progress and growth throughout the implementation of the ARAL Program. Through the collaborative efforts of teachers and parents, learners were given meaningful opportunities to strengthen their academic skills and build confidence in their learning journey.
This milestone reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that no learner is left behind and that every child receives the support needed to succeed.
