On August 30th, the IT Building buzzed with energy as leaders from different organizations gathered for a transformative seminar. We delved into the cutting edge of AI-enabled instructional innovations, exploring how different AI technologies can revolutionize education and empower learners. We also discussed critical strategies for preventing drug abuse and promoting healthy communities, equipping leaders with the knowledge and resources to make a positive impact. Finally, we addressed the vital topic of data privacy, ensuring leaders understand the importance of safeguarding sensitive information and upholding ethical data practices. This seminar wasn't just about acquiring knowledge; it was about igniting a passion for leadership, innovation, and making a difference in the world. Great job to all participants in this event! Despite the time constraint, everyone still managed to pull it off!

Last Friday, August 9, 2024, LLCCians Gather at the Educator's Coven General Assembly to Kickstart the Academic Year 2024-2025 with a Commitment to Excellence and Values of Respect, Integrity, and Perseverance! A remarkable event to build our dreams and welcome us with love, courage, and dignity.

According to Geejay Bacus, Vice President of EC, "Every day is a learning day, and being unique is being original by yourself"

A reminder for all of us that protocols and rules in school are essential for creating a safe and respectful learning environment, fostering discipline and order, and promoting accountability and responsibility among students. It is a foundational aspect of building a community that values integrity, growth, and excellence. And that Each one of us should be unique in our way and a catalyst for learning

📚 LLCC's Balik Eskwela '24: A Memorable Start to Academic Excellence!

On August 5, 2024, Lapu-Lapu City College (LLCC) commenced the academic year 2024–2025 with the unforgettable Balik Eskwela '24 event at the LLCC grounds. Distinguished guests, dedicated staff members, and then enthusiastic students gathered to embrace the start of the new school year. The event also highlighted the introduction of dynamic non-academic organizations like Book Club Haven (B*H), Students for Community Extensions Services (SCES), Inspiring Great singers through melodious Notes In Transcendent Ecstasy (IGNITE), and The Emblem Publication, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among the LLCC students and faculty.

As Lea S. Penales, the SSG President, set the stage for an exciting year ahead with her message of progress and achievement, let the spirit of community, learning, and togetherness guide us towards a successful and joyful year at Lapu-Lapu City College!

On July 16th and 17th, Lapu-Lapu City College held a Leadership Training Seminar and strategic planning with the theme “Creative Leadership Sparks: Igniting Change and Motivation” at Eloisa Suites Hotel. The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Analiza Apos-Ocaya, the Student Affairs and Services Office Coordinator. The seminar was attended by selected officers from various academic and non-academic organizations within the school.

The seminar aimed to equip student leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead effectively. Through a series of activities, discussions, and presentations, student leaders gained valuable insights and strategies to encourage new ideas, drive positive change, and enhance their leadership capabilities within their organizations.

Leadership is not about the fancy title; it's about making a positive impact on individuals.

Congratulations to the newly elected officers, who are eager to take on their responsibilities and transform their organizations with the knowledge and inspiration gained from the seminar. Your journey as leaders is just beginning; may your passion to lead continue to burn brightly.

On July 12, 2024, the Society of English Majors and other student organizations from Lapu-Lapu City College gathered for the Student Organizations Awards and Recognition (SOAR) event. The event, hosted by the Student Affairs and Services Office (SAO) at the Eloisa Royal Suites and featuring the SSG Oath-Taking Ceremony. During the ceremony, the previous year's team was recognized for their dedication and hard work, receiving the 🏅 COLLABORATION AWARD for their outstanding commitment to teamwork and cooperation

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Mary Jane Obispo, the former adviser of the Society of English Majors (SEM), for her unwavering support and guidance. Her contributions were instrumental in our success and are greatly appreciated. We also warmly welcome Mrs. Fatimarie M. Manayon as the new adviser of Society of English Majors (SEM). We look forward to her leadership and vision, confident that her guidance will inspire us to continue striving for excellence and achieving new milestones. We also want to express our appreciation to the Student Affairs Office for their unwavering support and commitment to organizing and recognizing the efforts of student organizations.
