✔ Must be a Philippine citizen
✔ Must have access to reliable internet connectivity

Additionally, applicants must belong to at least one of the following groups:

🔹 Workers in MSMEs or owners of Micro and Small Enterprises
🔹 University or vocational students pursuing technology-related programs

Electric fans are a simple way to stay cool—but only up to a point. They work by blowing air across your skin, helping sweat evaporate and carry heat away. But once temperatures rise above 35°C, their cooling effect starts to weaken.

At even higher temperatures, fans can backfire. Instead of cooling you, they push hot air over your body, increasing heat gain, like a convection oven.

Humidity also plays a role: in humid conditions, fans may still help by enhancing sweat evaporation, even at slightly higher temperatures.

A study by the World Meteorological Organization and World Health Organization suggests limiting fan use at these indoor temperatures:

The World Health Organization also sets 𝗮 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟰𝟬°𝗖, regardless of humidity.

So what if this threshold is reached? Shift to active cooling: move to cooler spaces, use water or cold compresses, stay hydrated, wear light clothing, rest, and watch for signs of heat-related illness.
