Earlier today, the Management of BASA-ISLA Reading Center conducted an inventory of books and other reading materials. Added in the list of books are the new donations from Ms. Melin P. Selbijan and Family.

During the inventory, it was found out that there are books that are missing. As the management expresses its happiness that students are utilizing the facility, we are reminding everyone to return the books borrowed from the reading center. The books and other reading materials should only be used inside the reading center for it to be available anytime for everyone. Let us help take good care of our resources❤️ Thank you.

Thank you Madam Bles Ongchuan for donating these children's story books to the BASA-ISLA Cahayagan Reading Center. BASA ISLA (Boosting and Acquiring Sustainable Awareness through Information-Search Learning Approach)

Project BASA ISLA is a community-based learning center that provides access to the different resources which will improve the reading ability of the Cahayaganons. This caters the students in all levels, parents and even teachers in teaching the students in terms of reading. This will be a home for non-readers and students under frustration level to improve and enhance their reading skills.

We are grateful enough that this has been finally realized. Thanks to the Brgy. Officials headed by Hon. Mark Ian R. Detera and the SK officials headed by Hon. Benjie A. Colele for all the support in providing facilities for this project. To the CNHS and CES teaching force for the undying support since day 1. Your efforts in facilitating the different contests and the reading camps are so much appreciated. God bless you all. To the benefactors and donors (books and cash), your help has a great impact to the Cahayagnons. Sir Jensen Detera and Ms. Rosalita Dula, thank u for your constant help and suggestions for this project. The BBCMAIS Cluster 9 headed by Dr. Danhill Donoga, thank you for being such an inspiration in putting up a sustainable project like this. To all of you, thank you❤️
