Due to the inclement weather brought by Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT), classes in ALL LEVELS both public and private schools are hereby suspended today, August 24,2026.

#𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐇𝐒𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝: Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, alternative learning modes shall be implemented in schools in the areas covered by the memorandum, including Ilocos Norte, on August 20, 2026, due to continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Unless otherwise directed by respective Local Chief Executives (LCEs), all public and private schools at all levels shall implement alternative learning modes and appropriate learning continuity measures to ensure the continued delivery of education.

A Meaningful Day of Mentorship 🤍📚

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Vernon Ponce from MMSU-CTE, BSNED Coordinator, who visited our school to interview us, the cooperating teachers, about the performance and experiences of the MMSU Field Study Intern Student-Teachers assigned to our SNED Program at Ilocos Norte National High School.

It was a meaningful opportunity to share our insights, experiences, and feedback as we continue to guide and support future Special Needs Education teachers. We are also grateful to be recognized and awarded Certificates of Recognition as Cooperating Teachers for our invaluable role in their teaching journey. 🫶🏻

Thank you, MMSU-CTE, for the trust and partnership. Together, we continue to inspire, mentor, and shape future educators. 💙✨

🍔 Friday Socialization & Skills Training Day! 💛

Today was another fun and meaningful Friday Socialization and Skills Training Day with our amazing INNHSNED learners! 🌟

For today’s activity, “Make Your Own Snack,” our learners made their very own delicious and sumptuous burgers! 🍔 They prepared and cooked their patties, then proudly assembled their burgers with fresh lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a squeeze of mayonnaise and ketchup. Every burger was made with effort, excitement, and a whole lot of courage! 👏😊

With the guidance and assistance of our Student Teachers, our learners were encouraged to take the lead and do the tasks themselves. Their support helped our learners feel more confident while learning to prepare their own snack. 💛

This activity was also integrated with Values Education, focusing on the value of COURAGE. 💪❤️ Our learners showed courage by trying something new, doing the task on their own, and believing in their ability to create something delicious with their own hands.

More than just making a yummy burger, they are learning important life skills—independence, confidence, responsibility, and the courage to try. 🌱✨

Today, we celebrate not only the delicious burgers they made, but most importantly, the courage and confidence they showed throughout the activity.
