The College-Wide Celebration of the 59th ASEAN Founding Anniversary, with the theme βNavigating Our Futures, Together,β brought the spirit of ASEAN to life through the vibrant participation of the elementary pupils.
Dressed in colorful ASEAN-inspired costumes, the LES pupils proudly showcased the diverse cultures and traditions of Southeast Asia.
Their participation highlights an important message: age is never a barrier to being part of something bigger. Even at a young age, children can learn about different cultures, appreciate diversity, build respect for others, and take part in celebrations that strengthen the spirit of unity and friendship among nations.
Through meaningful experiences like this, todayβs young learners are given the opportunity to become knowledgeable, respectful, and active members of a diverse and interconnected community.

IN PHOTOS I LES Celebrates Nutrition Month
MMSU - LES successfully concluded its Nutrition Month Celebration, highlighting the importance of healthy eating, proper nutrition, and wellness through a series of educational and creative activities participated in by learners across all grade levels.
The celebration featured a variety of competitions tailored to each grade level. Kindergarten pupils showcased their creativity and knowledge of healthy food through a Sandwich Making Contest, while learners from Grades 1 to 3 displayed their artistic talents in the Headdress Making Contest. Grade 4 learners promoted healthy living through a Digital Slogan Making Contest, Grade 5 pupils demonstrated environmental awareness and creativity in the Dish Gardening Contest, and Grade 6 learners exhibited practical life skills in Table Setting, Table Skirting, and Fruit Carving.
The activities provided meaningful opportunities for learners to develop creativity, teamwork, and appreciation for healthy lifestyles while making the celebration both enjoyable and educational.

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT I GLESC Rally & Election 2026
The General Laboratory Elementary School Club (GLESC), one of the school's pupil organizations, successfully held its rally and elections, bringing together aspiring young leaders for a meaningful presentation of platforms, advocacies, and visions for the organization.
The event provided each candidate with the opportunity to present their plans and commitment to serving the pupil community while giving pupils the chance to get to know the candidates and their proposed initiatives.
After the rally, pupils cast their votes responsibly and took part in choosing their new leaders.

Faculty members participated in the Orientation on the New Implementing Guidelines on the Grading System, Awards and Recognition, the Revised K to 10 Curriculum, and the Strengthened Senior High School Program held on July 1, 2026, at the Mariano Marcos State University β College of Teacher Education, University Laboratory Schools.
The orientation provided updates on DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026, covering classroom assessment, grading systems, awards and recognition, the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the implementation of the Revised K to 10 and Strengthened Senior High School curricula.
The activity further strengthened educators' readiness to implement the Department of Education's latest reforms and continue delivering quality, learner-centered education for the School Year 2026β2027.
