𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 (𝐘𝐄𝐒) of the Northwestern University – College of Teacher Education successfully held its 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 for the 2nd Semester at the Worship Center.

Student members gathered to stay informed and actively participate in the discussion of important organizational matters. The following key agendas were presented and discussed:

• Students’ Day Celebration
• Membership Fee Collection
• YES-O Projects for the 1st and 2nd Semesters
• Talyaw Extension Program
• Other Important Organizational Concerns

This assembly served as a platform for transparency, collaboration, and engagement among future educators, ensuring that every member remains updated and involved in the organization’s plans, programs, and activities.

Through this meeting, the YES Organization continues to promote leadership, unity, and shared responsibility in serving both the college and the community.

A moment of celebration and gratitude is happening now as the Northwestern University – College of Teacher Education honors Prof. Zenaida Franco on her special day and celebrates her retirement.

Today marks not only a birthday celebration but also the recognition of a remarkable journey in education. Through the years, Prof. Franco has dedicated her passion, wisdom, and commitment to shaping future educators and inspiring countless students. Her contributions to the academic community will always be remembered and cherished.

As this celebration unfolds, the CTE family expresses heartfelt gratitude for her years of service, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to the teaching profession.

Our 𝐘𝐄𝐒, 𝐁𝐄𝐃, and 𝐀𝐏𝐄𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, together with faculty and the 𝐂𝐂𝐒𝐃, brought 𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐣𝐨𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 to the community during the 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 activity under the 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐲𝐨𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 (𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠). Held in 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐮 𝐒𝐮𝐫, 𝐋𝐚𝐨𝐚𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞 during the 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, the program reminded everyone that 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞.

Coordinated by 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐚 𝐃. 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐨, with the support of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐘𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐒. 𝐋𝐚𝐨, OIC Director, 𝐂𝐂𝐒𝐃, this initiative strengthened 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬 and inspired hearts to give back.
