In celebration of Fire Prevention Month, a spark of curiosity turned into a day of discovery as the Kindergarten pupils of MMSU-Laboratory Elementary School (LES) engaged in a special fire safety session led by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Laoag City.
Guided by their dedicated teachers, Ms. Cherrie Bartolome, Ms. KC Villanueva, Mr. John Frederick Barut, Kindergarten learners eagerly listened and participated in the discussion of BFP officers as they introduced essential fire safety tips.
The session became even more exciting when the young learners explored real firefighting tools, relevance of prevention and the necessary actions to take during an emergency. Seeing the fire truck up close made the experiences more memorable for the young learners.
By instilling these life-saving lessons at an early age, young learners will understand the value of preparedness, safety and responsibility. Through this meaningful experience and with each lesson learned, these children are stepping into a future where safety matters and every precaution counts.
