The Data Center College of the Philippines Laoag ROTC Unit achieved an outstanding rating of 97.09% during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026, held on April 13, 2026, at Cadaratan National High School in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte. Chaired by RAATI Inspection Chairman 2026, COL CAMILO A SADDAM GSC (INF) PA, the evaluation marked a historic milestone for the unit, which was only activated in January 30, 2026. Despite being newly established, the corps demonstrated exceptional discipline, preparedness, and operational capability, proving its readiness to meet and exceed regional standards.

This success was made possible through the leadership of the Unit Commandant, MAJ JOEWIE T BERMUDES (OS) PA, with the steadfast support of College President Mr. Joseph D. Sicco and the hands-on guidance of NSTP Director Dr. Jay-Lynne May S. Escalona. Equally vital to this achievement were the dedicated training staff, cadet officers, and non-commissioned officers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every aspect of the unit’s preparation was thorough, coordinated, and aligned with inspection standards.

At the forefront stood Cadet Colonel Carl Angelo G. Ramiscal 1CL, Corps Battalion Commander, whose leadership fostered unity, discipline, and a strong sense of purpose among the cadets. Most importantly, the entire corps of cadets deserves recognition for their commitment, resilience, and teamwork throughout the training and inspection process. Their collective effort exemplifies how a young unit, grounded in structured training and shared dedication to service, can achieve excellence and set a high benchmark for others to follow.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦| The Data Center College of the Philippines Laoag ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 15th Training Day, serving as the final rehearsal before the much-anticipated D-Day, on April 11, 2026, at Cadaratan National High School. The activity was graced by the presence of the unit’s Commandant, MAJ JOEWIE T. BERMUDES, and NSTP Director, Dr. Jay-Lynne May S. Escalona, whose support further motivated the cadets. With the full backing of the institution led by Mr. Joseph D. Sicco, the training emphasized precision, discipline, and synchronization as MS2 cadets and cadet officers carried out their final preparations for the upcoming RAATI 2026. The unit also extends its sincere appreciation to the Sagunday Marching Band of Northwestern University for their presence and support during the said training, which added inspiration and energy to the rehearsal.

Under the leadership of CDTCOL Carl Angelo G. Ramiscal, the cadets demonstrated unwavering determination and commitment, giving their utmost effort in every aspect of the rehearsal. As the newly activated ROTC unit of the institution, they carry the pride and expectations of representing the college as pioneers in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026. With strong institutional support and a shared goal of excellence, the unit stands ready to make history, showcasing not only their skills and training but also their dedication, unity, and honor as future leaders.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦| The Data Center College of the Philippines Laoag ROTC Unit successfully carried out its 14th Training Day on April 6, 2026, held at Cadaratan National High School. The training commenced early in the day, gathering MS2 cadets alongside cadet officers in a continued effort to strengthen their discipline, coordination, and overall performance. The session focused on intensive drills, formation practices, and refinement of assigned tasks, all aimed at enhancing the unit’s readiness for upcoming major activities.

With the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 fast approaching, the cadets have shown heightened dedication and commitment in their preparations. Each member actively participated in their designated events, striving for precision and excellence in ex*****on. The 14th Training Day served as a crucial stepping stone in building confidence, teamwork, and competence among the cadets, reflecting the unit’s determination to deliver an outstanding performance in the forthcoming RAATI.

The activity brought together MS2 cadets and cadet officers in a unified effort to further enhance their skills, discipline, and coordination. Throughout the training, participants engaged in intensive drills and rehearsals designed to sharpen their performance and readiness for upcoming unit activities.

As the much-anticipated D-Day draws near, the cadets have significantly intensified their preparations, demonstrating determination and commitment in their respective assigned events. Each participant is striving to give their very best to ensure a strong and cohesive performance during the upcoming Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI). The training day served not only as a platform for skill development but also as a testament to the unit’s dedication, teamwork, and pursuit of excellence.
