🤝 STRONGER TOGETHER: EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES! 🤝

​True community development begins when we unite with a shared vision.

Today, the Northwestern University College of Business Education (COBE) successfully conducted TIMPUYOG ON COOPERATIVE AWARENESS AND DEVELOPMENT at Brgy. 35 Gabu Sur, Laoag City.

​Centered on the theme “Stronger Together: Empowering Communities through the Fundamentals of Cooperative,” this seminar aimed to equip local leaders and residents with the essential tools and knowledge of cooperatives to foster sustainable growth, financial independence, and collective success.

​This impactful community extension project was made possible through the joint efforts of:

​College of Business Education (COBE) Faculty
​College of Business Education Student Organization (COBESO)

​A huge thank you to our distinguished speaker, Mr. Jerry C. Castro Jr., for sharing his invaluable expertise, and to the warm community of Barangay 35 Gabu Sur for their active participation and enthusiasm. Together, we are paving the way for a more empowered and resilient community!

Our organization recently participated in Casili Laoag, Ilocos Norte, where our students played an active role in facilitating the NWU survey. This fieldwork is a clear reflection of the student leadership and "activeness" that defines our college.

This project was organized by the NWU CCSD Department and fueled by the energy of our students, who stepped up to engage with the local community firsthand. Their dedication highlights how our members are growing into proactive leaders who aren't afraid to get involved in real-world research.

We also want to highlight the invaluable support of our faculty advisors. Their guidance allowed our student-led teams to navigate the survey with confidence and professional excellence. It’s the perfect blend of student passion and faculty mentorship! 🤝✨
