Tourism events featured showmanship, tour guiding, tour packaging, and travel photography, while Hospitality events included waiter’s relay, centerpiece presentation, napkin folding, and cake decoration. Collectively, these activities demonstrated technical proficiency, artistic expression, and industry-relevant skills.

The 4th AMPAYAG International Hospitality and Tourism Research Conference and Skills Convergence featured Speaker Dr. Noelah Borbon, who delivered her session on Reimagining Education for the Next Generation of Global Professionals.

Her discussion focused on the evolving landscape of education and the importance of preparing both educators and students to become future-ready, adaptive, and innovative in facing global challenges. She also emphasized that the true value of education goes beyond financial success, but in shaping leaders capable of making a lasting impact.

At the 4th AMPAYAG International Hospitality and Tourism Research Conference and Skills Convergence, we were inspired by the meaningful words of Mr. Dennis Del Mar, Cabin Training and Sales Manager of PTC Aviation Training Center, Inc.

His message reminded future hospitality and tourism professionals that while aviation provides the wings, it is passion, service, and heart that truly create global connections and unforgettable experiences.

As we prepare to enter the industry, may we continue to build friendships beyond borders and embrace the value of international engagement in shaping a more connected world.

A compelling discussion on values-driven leadership and sustainable hospitality was shared at the 4th AMPAYAG International Hospitality and Tourism Research Conference and Skills Convergence.

We were inspired by Mr. Abdul Hafid, Resort Manager of InterContinental Resort Bali, as he presented insights on purposeful leadership in the hospitality industry.

He discussed the importance of leading with intention, delivering heartfelt service, and taking active responsibility in protecting the environment—reminding future professionals that hospitality plays a key role in shaping a more meaningful and sustainable tourism industry.

A meaningful exchange of ideas on sustainability and cultural preservation took place at the 4th AMPAYAG International Hospitality and Tourism Research Conference and Skills Convergence.

We were honored to hear from Dr. Ivan Henares, Secretary-General of the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines and Commissioner of the NCCA, as he shared his insightful topic on Sustainable Cultural Tourism.
