The DWCL Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – Association of Civil Engineering Students (PICE-ACES) is officially opening its Organization Shirt Design Contest and Officer Shirt Design Contest for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

We invite all creative and talented members of the organization to submit original shirt designs that reflect the values, professionalism, and unity of the Civil Engineering community. Winning designs will have the opportunity to become the official shirts of the organization and its officers.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲
- Open to all bona fide DWCL PICE-ACES members.
- Participants may join individually or in pairs.
- Each participant/team may submit one (1) entry for the Organization Shirt and/or one (1) entry for the Officer Shirt.

𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
- Entries must be original and must not contain copyrighted or offensive materials.
- Include the official DWCL, PICE National and PICE-ACES logos without alteration.
- Submit the front and back design together with a short design concept (3–5 sentences).
- Designs must be suitable for full sublimation
- Submit your entry in PNG, JPEG, or PDF format before the announced deadline.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 | 𝘿𝙒𝘾𝙇 𝙋𝙄𝘾𝙀-𝘼𝘾𝙀𝙎 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙂𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮

Members of the Divine Word College of Laoag Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers – Association of Civil Engineering Students (PICE-ACES) gathered at Room 426 today, July 9, for the organization's General Assembly, transforming the venue into a space filled with discussions, updates, and plans for the months ahead.

The meeting officially opened under the leadership of PICE-ACES President Marc Lorenze Daludado together with the organization officers, who walked members through important matters concerning the organization.

Among the topics discussed were the membership fee, issuance of receipts, upcoming projects and activities, organizational fines, and the official organizational shirt.

More than just an exchange of announcements, the assembly served as an opportunity for members to stay informed, involved, and connected with one another as future civil engineers.

The meeting concluded with renewed enthusiasm and a stronger sense of unity among the members, before it was officially adjourned by the organization's officers, marking the end of a productive and meaningful gathering for the DWCL PICE-ACES community.

𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎| 𝘾𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣

As a new academic year begins at Divine Word College of Laoag, excitement filled Room 4A2 as first-year and transferee Civil Engineering students gathered for their breakout orientation session during the Morning Breakout Sessions, marking the beginning of their college journey.

The session was facilitated by Engr. Jayren Asuncion, who discussed important school policies, academic guidelines, student responsibilities, and other essential information to help students adjust to college life and the expectations of the institution.

The Dean of the School of Engineering, Architecture, and Information Technology also warmly welcomed the students and shared words of encouragement as they embark on their chosen path in engineering.

Part of the orientation was the presentation and introduction of the deans, department heads, and instructors from the different departments, giving students the opportunity to become familiar with the faculty members and administrators who will guide and support them throughout their academic journey.

More than an orientation, the session became an opportunity for students to meet fellow future engineers, build connections, and take their first steps toward becoming professionals in the field.

For many of the incoming students, the breakout session was not only a welcome to the institution but also the beginning of a new chapter filled with learning, challenges, and opportunities.

A new environment marks the beginning of new opportunities.

𝐋𝐀𝐎𝐀𝐆 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞—The newest Civil Engineering freshmen and transferees of the Divine Word College of Laoag were welcomed through a guided campus tour yesterday, July 6, led by the PICE-ACES DWCL Officers as part of the CSC's welcoming activities for the opening of the new academic year.

The tour introduced the students to the different classrooms, engineering laboratories, offices, and student facilities that will become part of their daily academic life at DWCL. Officers also shared important information about the campus, helping the newcomers become more familiar with the places and services that will support them throughout their stay in the college.

Aside from that, the activity also gave them the chance to get to know the campus, meet their fellow students, and begin building connections within the Civil Engineering community.

As they start their journey, may this be the first of many meaningful experiences that will lead them toward growth, success, and becoming future civil engineers.
