The 7𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 successfully concluded its two-day event held at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa, Manila. With the inspiring theme “𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔: 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏,” the conference brought together academics, researchers, and industry practitioners. Third-year BSA students attended as keen observers, while our fourth-year BS Accountancy students proudly represented the university through their pre-recorded research presentations.

On Day 1, Dr. Kyra Sin Kit Yeng from Sunway University, Malaysia, delivered a powerful keynote speech titled “From Linear to Circular: Rethinking Business Models for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth.” This was followed by insightful plenary sessions featuring Dr. Jean Paolo Lacap from the City College of Angeles on “Key Strategies to Manage the Demand of Writing a Research,” Dr. Emmanuel Dotong, CHIA, MBDBI, FBE from De La Salle University-Manila on “Literature Review Using AI Tools in Research,” and Mr. Lucrecio Delgado from Wadwanhi Foundation on “Design Thinking, Creativity, and Innovation Management.”

Day 2 featured vibrant simultaneous research presentations across five tracks: (1) Market Signals and Consumer Culture, (2) Human Capital, Well-being, and Service Performance, (3) Financial Behavior, Trust, and Inclusion, (4) Communities, Systems, and Public Solutions, and (5) Enterprise Resilience, Policy, and Emerging Value Chains. Our fourth-year BSAcc students shone brightly with their outstanding papers:

The conference was gracefully concluded by the NPBRC Chairman, Dr. Eric S. Parilla, DBA, FBE, who inspired everyone to continue pushing the boundaries of business research for national development. A meaningful milestone for our students and a proud moment for Northwester University.

Across four key areas—Academics, Non-Academics, Social Media Activity, and Overall Performance—each Queendom has demonstrated not only skill and strategy, but also resilience, creativity, and teamwork. These rankings stand as a testament to the collective effort poured into every event, from intellectual battles to collaborative trials.
