The seminar emphasized the importance of aligning financial plans with the Universityโ€™s goals and objectives. Different budgeting approaches and methods, key components and the basic steps in preparing them were also discussed. Moreover, the seminar introduced techniques for analyzing budget variances and the importance of budgeting in measuring performance.
