𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | Down to the last breakout sessions—big ideas, bold moves, education is leveling up in real time.

Breakout Sessions 1 and 2 are currently highlighting key developments in education, focusing on Digital Transformation and Innovation as well as Leadership, Governance, and Policy, with experts discussing AI integration, emerging technologies, future-ready learning environments, and educational reforms.

Breakout Session 1 is moderated by Dr. Jay-ar A. Cristobal, with technical support from Ms. Princess Meileen Batuyong, and judged by Dr. Gerry D. Abad and Dr. Bert A. Gamiao.

Breakout Session 2 is moderated by Prof. Christy Ann M. Rahon, with technical staff Ms. Althea Dela Cruz and Mr. Neil Bryant Lucas, and judged by Dr. Megnha Mehndroo, Dr. Abdisa Olkeba, and Dr. Margarita G. Hilario.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The third day of the 3rd Global Conference on Teacher Education, Research and Innovation has commenced.

At the moment, Dr. Yiyun Hu, Associate Professor and Vice Director of the Institute of International and Comparative Education at Beijing Normal University, China, is delivering her talk titled, “How Does Interdisciplinary Curriculum Development Enhance Teacher Competence? A Case Study of Education for International Understanding in Chinese K–12 Schools.”

Her plenary presentation examines how interdisciplinary approaches can strengthen teacher competence in today’s globalized education landscape.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | Breakout Sessions of GCTERI 2026 continue to engage participants in meaningful scholarly exchange, highlighting key themes that advance inclusive, globally responsive, and research-driven education.

Breakout Session 1, under Theme D: Inclusive Education and Student Support, centers on fostering equitable and supportive learning environments for diverse learners. Discussions cover inclusive and special needs education, student well-being and psychosocial support, equity and culturally responsive practices, as well as family and community engagement. The session is guided by moderator Dr. Madeline T. Fernando, with Dr. Arlyne C. Marasigan, Dr. Lilibeth G. Abrogena, and Dr. Bethany Grace Calixto serving as judges, and technical support from Ms. Hannah Abigail Mamuad.

Meanwhile, Breakout Session 2 highlights Theme E: Graduate and International Education, focusing on preparing globally competent graduates through advanced education and international collaboration. Key topics include graduate education and professional development, global competencies, cross-cultural learning, and strategic partnerships. The session is moderated by Mr. Christian Jay Valdez, with Dr. Arlene L. Gonzales, Prof. Jeanette G. Dials, and Mrs. Habtam Setegn as judges, supported by Ms. Vivian Lee V. Dagampat as technical staff.

Breakout Session 3 features Theme C (Part 2): Research Process and Methodologies, emphasizing research rigor and innovation across all stages of inquiry. Presentations explore quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches, instrument development and validation, research ethics and integrity, and scholarly writing for publication. The session is moderated by Dr. Mark Joseph D. Pastor, with Dr. Winicel May C. Ancheta and Dr. Romelyn T. Lagura serving as mentors and judges, and technical assistance from Mr. Brandon Lacuesta.

These parallel sessions underscore the conference’s commitment to advancing inclusive education, strengthening global engagement, and promoting excellence in research and innovation.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | The 3rd Global Conference on Teacher Education, Research, and Innovation (GCTERI 2026) continues its Day 2 program with a dynamic lineup of international experts, plenary sessions, and panel discussions focused on advancing research ecosystems, innovative teaching practices, and curriculum development.

At present, a panel discussion is underway on “Research Integrity and Impact in a Global Context: Ethics, Open Science, and Community-Engaged Research,” bringing together school heads from higher education institutions in India, South Africa, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Among the panelists are Dr. Doreen D. Domingo, dean of the MMSU Graduate School, and Dr. Ronald Candy S. Lasaten, dean of the College of Teacher Education, who are sharing their insights on strengthening ethical research practices, promoting open science, and enhancing the global impact of academic communities.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The afternoon breakout sessions of the 3rd Global Conference on Teacher Education, Research, and Innovation (GCTERI), hosted online by Mariano Marcos State University, are now in full swing, bringing together educators, researchers, and global partners for engaging and insightful discussions.

For Breakout Session 1 (Theme A: Teaching & Learning Strategies), Dr. Rosabel L. Acosta, Dr. Tariku Gemede, and Prof. Leonardo D. Tejano are serving as judges, with Dr. Marc Paul T. Calzada as moderator and Ms. Lovely Demandante as technical staff. Participants are actively exploring innovative pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment practices, and learner engagement to enhance classroom outcomes.

In Breakout Session 2 (Theme B: Research Excellence, Impact, and Methods), Dr. Jayson L. de Vera, Dr. Vida V. Antonio, and Dr. Mekuria Guye are serving as judges, with Mr. Christian Jeffrey Balintec as moderator and Ms. Cherryl Pascua Dahilig as technical staff. Discussions are centering on producing high-quality, socially responsive research that addresses societal needs, particularly in sustainable development, employability, and education outcomes.

Meanwhile, Breakout Session 3 (Theme C: Research Process and Methodologies – Part 1) features mentors/judges Dr. Mark Joseph D. Pastor and Dr. Romelyn T. Lagura, with Dr. Winicel May C. Ancheta as moderator and Mr. Brandon Lacuesta as technical staff. The session is focusing on strengthening research rigor through quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods approaches, as well as instrument development, research ethics, and effective scholarly dissemination.

These breakout sessions continue to reflect the conference’s theme, “Convergence for Excellence: Integrating Teacher Education, Research, and Global Engagement,” by fostering collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence.
