The UAPSA-NWU family proudly congratulates Mr. Ian Deniel Ivan C. Domingo of BS-Architecture 03 for securing 1st Place in the Poster-Making Contest during Youth Fest 2026: “Tinig at Galaw ng Kabataan,” held in celebration of International Youth Day 2026 on August 12, 2026, at the International House, Northwestern University, Laoag City.

His winning poster, entitled “PAMANA” carries a meaningful message:

"Ang bawat tao ay may karapatang mamuhay nang tanggap siya ng mundo. Ito ay kalipunan ng iba’t ibang karapatang pantao na dapat hubugin at isabuhay ng bawat isa upang magsilbing pamana, hindi lamang para sa kasalukuyang panahon, kundi higit sa lahat, upang maipasa ang pamanang ito sa mga susunod na henerasyon.”

On August 11, 2026, 𝗨𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗔-𝗡𝗪𝗨 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 proudly attended the 𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗕 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena in Laoag City. We are proud to celebrate our members who received 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 for their achievements, dedication, and excellence.

Under the group category, Gold and Silver awardees are recognized for securing top-place finishes in official national or international competitions and completing the required documentation during the nomination period of the Ilocos Norte Youth Development Office.

This recognition reflects their hard work and commitment to excellence. Congratulations to all our awardees! May your achievements continue to inspire the NWU Architecture Department community.

Governor Cecilia Araneta Marcos declared the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools across the Province of Ilocos Norte on August 10, 2026, due to heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Meanwhile, Northwestern University implemented asynchronous classes and a work-from-home arrangement for August 10, 2026.

On July 28, 2026, we proudly gathered at the International House Function Hall to honor and celebrate the successful passers of the June 2026 Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA).

The Testimonial Program recognized the hard work, perseverance, and dedication of our newly licensed architects as they reached this significant milestone. More than a celebration of success, the occasion marked the beginning of their professional journey in shaping communities and creating meaningful spaces through architecture.

Congratulations to our new architects! May you continue to uphold excellence, lead with integrity, and make lasting contributions to the profession and society.

The 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, Undergraduate Thesis Seminar and Parent's Consultation for 𝟱𝘁𝗵-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 will be conducted on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (Friday) at the 𝗖𝗔𝗗 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, starting at 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠.

This seminar is intended to provide students and parents with a comprehensive overview of the undergraduate thesis process, including academic requirements, research expectations, key milestones, and important timelines. The Parent's Consultation component will also facilitate discussions on the role of parental support throughout the thesis journey.
