This meaningful event marks an important milestone in the journey of our future engineers, architects, and IT professionals as they embrace greater responsibility, commitment, and purpose in their chosen fields. Innovation and creativity took center stage at the Ilocos Reinvention Challenge 2026 by Accenture, where four teams presented their technology-driven ideas and solutions. Supporting the event were three BSIT students from Divine Word College of Laoag, together with Dr. Frelyn B. Ranay, Dr. Libertine Gertrude R. Macaspac, and Mr. John Haroldd B. Dalida, an IT faculty member who also served as one of the judges in the competition.

The activity served as a meaningful learning experience for everyone who attended. It exposed participants to real-world problem-solving approaches, innovative system designs, and the importance of creativity and analytical thinking in the fields of information technology and business.

After the awarding ceremony, Mr. John Haroldd B. Dalida delivered a short message emphasizing the importance of experiential learning. He shared that “the only way we can truly learn is through experience,” encouraging everyone to continue exploring, innovating, and gaining knowledge through real-world challenges.

Overall, the event inspired both participants and attendees to continue exploring innovative ideas and to embrace learning through real-world experiences.
