Free play is never a waste of time. 💛
For 30 minutes, our kindergarteners weren't "just playing"—they were imagining, creating, building, solving problems, making friends, and discovering what they could do with their own ideas.
Blocks became towers, robots, umbrella, chicken hat, a community with families and sword....
Simple materials became endless possibilities.
This is where creativity grows, confidence blooms, and little minds learn to think independently.
And when playtime was over, the learning didn't stop. Together, they cleaned up their toys and materials, learning that taking responsibility for their environment is just as important as having fun.
Sometimes, the most meaningful lessons don't happen at a desk—they happen during moments of joyful play.
Because in Montessori, we believe that play is the work of the child, and every moment of purposeful play helps build capable, responsible, and happy learners.
