๐Ÿ… 75 MEDALS. ONE SCHOOL. ONE TEAM. ONE BOLD BEGINNING. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Despite the short preparation and only a few days of practice, our athletes courageously took on even new eventsโ€”a risk our school was willing to take and invest in. Weโ€™re grateful to see the results:
๐Ÿฅ‡ 8 Gold
๐Ÿฅˆ 52 Silver
๐Ÿฅ‰ 15 Bronze

We may not have brought home all the gold, but we gained experience, confidence, and a stronger drive to improve. This is just the beginning. Next year, we come back stronger, better prepared, and more determined. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

A heartfelt thank you to our LGU Makabagong Lantawan headed by our beloved Mayor Nasser Abubakar and the SB headed by our Vice Mayor Omaer Abubakar, for our uniform and financial support. To our other sponsors, and all our stakeholders for believing in and supporting our athletes. To the parents, for entrusting their child to us. Your support made this journey possible. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

We took the risk. We embraced the challenge. Now, we rise stronger. Congratulations AANHS athletes!๐Ÿ†

A Day for CARS and HEEADSSS

๐Ÿ“… August 14, 2026

โ€œBecause every learner deserves a safe spaceโ€”and someone who knows how to listen.โ€

Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 104, s. 2026, the designated Guidance Advocate of Atong-Atong National High School successfully completed the CARS and HEEADSSS Training, together with Guidance Designates from 179 elementary schools, 22 secondary schools, and 18 nurses.

The training provided a meaningful opportunity to deepen our understanding of learnersโ€™ needs, concerns, and experiences through Children and Adolescent Risk Screener(CARS). The Guidance Advocate of AANHS Ms. Maria Chanda Suson actively participated in the discussions, listened attentively to the resource speakers, and took part in the required activities and exercises.

The afternoon session was made even more engaging by our superb resource speaker, whose passion and ability to connect with the participants truly captured the attention of the audience. His message resonated deeply, as learners need safe spaces not only within the classroom, but everywhere they go in and beyond the school.

Indeed, CARS and HEEADSSS are more than tools and procedures. They remind us that sometimes, a safe space begins with a listening ear, a caring heart, and an adult who is willing to understand.

๐Ÿ’™ For every learner. For every story. For every safe space.

Part 2: Grade 7 Apollo & Grade 7-Athena
NUTRITION MONTH 2026 ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿฅ—

Atong-Atong National High School values nutrition and environmental responsibility as we celebrate this yearโ€™s National Nutrition Month through a classroom-based approach.

The month of July is celebrated as National Nutrition Month pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 491, with the National Nutrition Council (NNC) spearheading the annual observance. This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œNutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan,โ€ reminds us that good nutrition and a healthy environment go hand in hand.

During the first week, our Nutrition Month poster was shared on the schoolโ€™s page to support and promote the celebration. The succeeding weeks focused on classroom discussions, learning activities, and other initiatives that encouraged our learners to appreciate the importance of proper nutrition and environmental care.

At AANHS, our TLE and MAPEH teachers, in collaboration with the class advisers, facilitated various activities. Several advisers also took part in the celebration in accordance with Division Memorandum No. 90, s. 2026.

Among the highlights were booth and table displays, poster-making, slogan-making, jingle contest, veggie mascot, and a quiz bee, providing our learners with meaningful and enjoyable ways to learn about nutrition, sustainability, and responsible use of our natural resources.

Together, let us build a healthier community while taking good care of the environment that sustains us. ๐Ÿ’š

Let us help fight food scarcity and food waste by growing food in our own backyards, supporting local produce, and making wise and responsible choices in what we eat and how we use our natural resources.

AANHS Teacher-Coaches Successfully Completed 2026 Division Coaches Accreditation

Two dedicated teacher-coaches from Atong-Atong National High School successfully attended and completed the 2026 Division Accreditation for Coaches and Other Sports Personnel, held on August 7โ€“9, 2026, at Tairan, Lantawan, Basilan.

The opening program was graced by our beloved Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Myra B. Mangkabung, CESE, together with the Education Program Supervisors, Division Focal Persons and Coordinators, Tairan Elementary School Head Mr. Joven Jagoh, and our very own School Principal, Mrs. Rucaiya Jamaluddin.

An inspiring message from our SDS set the tone for the three-day activity, followed by important announcements, reminders, and orientations from the Division Sports Officer, Assistant Coordinators, Tournament Managers, and Health Team.

On the second day, the coaches took on the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), challenging themselves at the different fitness stations and giving their best in every activity. This was followed by a series of informative lectures and discussions held at Tairan Central Elementary School.

The third day brought a fun and exciting atmosphere through Larong Pinoy, where participants competed, collaborated, and enjoyed traditional Filipino gamesโ€”proving that sports are not only about competition but also about camaraderie, teamwork, and enjoyment.

๐Ÿ‘ Kudos to Mr. Alkaisar Jaji and Ms. Tadzmahal Timpahan for successfully passing the PFT and completing all the required tasks throughout the three-day accreditation!

Your dedication, perseverance, and willingness to learn demonstrate your commitment to our learners and to the development of school sports.

Congratulations, Teacher-Coaches! You are now ready to coach, inspire, and help our young athletes reach their full potential! ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
