Hapid NHS extends its gratitude to the Barangay Hapid LGU for their proactive initiative in conducting a spraying activity around the school premises as part of their Anti-Dengue Campaign.

This activity aims to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our learners, teachers, and staff by helping eliminate mosquito breeding sites and prevent the spread of dengue.

We commend our barangay officials and health workers for their continuous efforts to protect the community’s well-being. Together, let’s keep our surroundings clean and free from stagnant water to stop dengue.

What a truly inspiring day as Hapid National High School proudly celebrated IPEd cm Teachers' Day last Friday, October 17. 🎉 The heart of education was honored while embracing the unique cultural heritage of Ifugaos under the theme: "Celebrating the Heart of Education in Shaping the Future Guided by Indigenous Wisdom."

The students showcased the richness of our culture through a moving performance of the Nuntalak an Imbabale, native dances and ethnic ensemble performances. Fun and competitive spirit also soared as everyone enjoyed the traditional games like hanggul, bultung, kadang-kadang, guyyudan, and akkad.

HNHS' dedicated teachers were also overwhelmed with gratitude as students poured out their appreciation through heartfelt presentations, dances, moving poems, and the giving of thoughtful gifts and cards—a true testament to the patience and love our educators give every day.

​The program concluded with an awards ceremony, recognizing the lifelong achievements and unwavering commitment of our teachers. Maraming salamat po! 🙏

​Thank you to everyone who made this dual celebration a massive success! The future of education is bright when guided by wisdom and love.

HNHS Officially Opens Intramurals 2025

With the theme ‘Empowering Youth, Building Character, and Strengthening Unity through Sports,’ Hapid National High School officially opened its much-awaited Intramurals 2025 on Friday, September 19, 2025.

The day kicked off with a vibrant Opening Program and Parade, showcasing the four powerhouse teams: Warriors, Titans, Gladiators, and Terminators. The highlight of the program was the inspirational message from the Guest Speaker, Ms. Junabeth A. Ballitoc, who shared her personal journey as an athlete. She spoke about the values that shaped her—resilience, unity, hard work, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship—and reminded everyone that true success in sports is complemented by education and holistic development.

The day ended with action-packed games in Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Sepak Takraw, Scrabble, and Chess.

Earlier today, Hapid NHS successfully conducted an earthquake drill in coordination with the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team, school personnel, and barangay officials of Hapid.

The activity aimed to strengthen preparedness, safety awareness, and quick response in the event of an earthquake. As part of the drill, the School Basic Life Support (BLS) staged realistic scenarios where some “injured” individuals needed immediate assistance. The team promptly responded, demonstrating proper first aid and evacuation procedures.

After all students and personnel were accounted for, the BLS coordinator, Vina Grace Cabbigat, explained the actions taken and the treatment they provided to the “injured.” Feedback was also given by School Head Joel Bodah, SDRRM Coordinator Angel Pablo Jr., Brgy. Kagawad Rustom Ablang, and Brgy. Kagawad Leo Malingan Jr.to highlight effective practices and correct areas that need improvement, ensuring that the school community will be more equipped in case of a real emergency.
This activity reflects the school’s continuing commitment to promoting safety and preparedness among its learners and personnel.
