𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 3𝗿𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀; 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀

MLNHS recognized the academic efforts of its students by awarding certificates to the honors and achievers after the flag ceremony on February 11, 2026.

Following the awarding ceremony, parents and guardians of Mongilitians proceeded to the classrooms for the conduct of the final Homeroom Parent-Teachers Association (HPTA) meeting for School Year 2025–2026.

The activity highlighted the importance of cooperation between the school and parents in supporting students’ academic growth and overall development.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻; 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗧𝗩𝗦

MLNHS held a send-off and turnover ceremony for the outgoing and incoming school head at the school’s mini gym on February 4, 2026.

The program was attended by Madam Marlyn Lupai, District Supervisor, along with other school heads from both elementary and secondary schools in the municipality of Lamut. Several barangay officials, led by Barangay Captain Jaime Palawe, and teachers from Ifugao Technical Vocational School (ITVS) were also present to witness the ceremony.

After serving the school for one year and six months, the outgoing school head, Madam Bernadette Villanueva, will be transferred to Ifugao Technical Vocational School (ITVS). Meanwhile, Madam Rose Bella Bidang, formerly from ITVS, will assume her post as the new school head of Mongilit Ligmayo National High School.

The program was filled with warmth and joy as the school community expressed gratitude and farewell to Madam Villanueva and warmly welcomed Madam Bidang as the new head of the school.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗬 2026–2027

On January 30, 2026, students of MLNHS successfully elected 11 new officers of the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) for the upcoming School Year 2026–2027. The election was conducted in their respective classrooms at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Prior to the election, a campaign activity was held on January 29, 2026, after the flag ceremony at the school grounds. During this event, the candidates introduced themselves and presented their plans and platforms to their fellow students.

The newly elected SSLG officers are as follows:
• President: Euginie Dulnuan
• Vice President: Zykana Tuguinay
• Secretary: Jerryle Tayaban
• Treasurer: Ashtine Bottad
• Public Information Officer (PIO): Jericho Dulnuan

Protocol Officers:
• Aleyah Laguna
• Xianne Ayunan

Grade Level Representatives:
• Grade 8: Jasper Lad-ao
• Grade 9: Moreiah Modne
• Grade 10: Febilyn Wigan

The SSLG serves as the mother organization of all student groups in the school. Therefore, the newly elected officers are expected to lead their fellow students toward excellence and to promote unity, responsibility, and active participation in school activities.

𝐌𝐋𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄

Just this day, Grade 7 to Grade 10 students took part in the Performance Assessment of Standards and Skills (PASS), a standards-based test designed to measure student proficiency in English, Mathematics, and Science.

PASS is provided by GRACE (Global Resources for Assessment, Curriculum, and Evaluation), a leading educational organization under Phoenix Publishing House. GRACE supports schools by offering assessment tools, data analysis, and professional development to help ensure student learning aligns with the Department of Education’s K-12 curriculum and the MATATAG program.

Patuloy nating pangalagaan, protektahan, at ipaglaban ang karapatan ng bawat bata!

Buwan ng Wika 2025, Makulay na Ipinagdiwang

Ipinagdiwang ng Mataas na Paaralan ng Mongilit Ligmayo ang Buwan ng Wika noong Agosto 29, 2025 sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang patimpalak na nilahukan ng mga piling mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang baitang.

Kabilang sa mga patimpalak ang Pagpili ng Lakan at Lakambini ng Wika 2025, Muling Pagkukuwento, OPM Solo, Sabayang Pagbigkas, Madulang Pagbigkas, at Balagtasan. Layunin ng mga paligsahan na maipakita ang talento, galing, at pagpapahalaga ng mga kabataan sa wikang Filipino.

Sa pagbubukas ng programa, binigyang-diin ni Gng. Bernadette Villanueva, punongguro ng paaralan, ang kahalagahan ng wika bilang sagisag ng pagkakakilanlan at pagkakaisa ng mga Pilipino.

Matapos ang serye ng pagtatanghal, ipinagkaloob ang mga parangal sa mga nagwagi sa bawat kategorya. Ang mga kalahok ay ginawaran ng sertipiko bilang pagkilala sa kanilang husay at pagsisikap.
