FINALS WEEK — March 9-10
“Backread? Gusto.”
“Review? Ayaw.”
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
How are you planning to be Linda Walker if you’re 1/45 like this? 🤨🤨🤨
Not 719 points.
Not main character academic excellence.
Just… 1 out of 45.
Wait.
Am I saying this to myself?
Because why am I so good at rereading conversations, decoding messages, replaying memories in HD… but when it’s time to reread my notes, suddenly I’m sleepy?
I can analyze tone. I can overthink a single word. I can remember who said what, at what time, and with what emoji.
But formulas?
Definitions?
Concepts we discussed three days ago?
Gone. Vanished. Evaporated.
So again — how exactly are you going to reach “Linda Walker energy” if your current performance is giving “1/45 but confident”? 😭😭😭
Okay. Jokes aside.
There’s something different about finals.
It’s not loud like the beginning of the school year.
It’s not exciting like the first quiz.
It’s quiet. Serious. Almost intimidating.
Because this is the part where everything adds up.
All the sleepy mornings.
All the crammed notes.
All the “I’ll study later” moments.
All the small efforts no one saw.
Finals aren’t just about scores.
They’re about proof.
Proof that you survived the pressure.
Proof that you showed up even when you felt unmotivated.
Proof that growth isn’t always obvious — but it’s real.
People think exams measure intelligence.
But sometimes, they measure endurance.
How many breakdowns did you push through?
How many times did you doubt yourself but still tried?
How many nights did you choose discipline over comfort?
March 9-10 isn’t just another date.
It’s a checkpoint.
Not the end of the journey — but a moment to pause and say: “I made it this far.”
Whether the results are perfect or not, what matters is that you didn’t quit halfway.
Because success isn’t always about getting everything right.
Sometimes it’s about refusing to give up when things get hard.
So here’s to the quiet grind.
To the unseen effort.
To the growth that doesn’t always show immediately.
Finals week.
No fear.
No comparisons.
Just focus, faith, and forward.
Let the result reflect the effort.
To my STEM B-yond peeps, good luck.
May your answers be clear, your mind be calm, and your effort reflects in your results.
And to everyone taking exams —
whatever strand, whatever section, whatever subject —
good luck.
You’ve come this far.
Trust what you’ve learned.
Trust your preparation.
Trust yourself.
Let’s finish this strong! 🩵🩵🩵
