Tandung Ahas National High School (TaNHS) invites PCT Jasfreel P. Acma, Deputy Chief of Police for Administration of Lamitan Police Station, together with his men, to conduct the Active Threat Preparedness Drill, Thursday, September 3, 2026.
The drill was initiated by School Disaster Risk Reduction Management (SDRRM) team headed by the SDRRM Coordinator, sir Jonard Laporga, to test and reinforce the school's emergency response protocols while ensuring that students, teachers, and administrative staff are prepared and can react swiftly to potential violent intruders or armed security breaches.
Unlike the standard natural disaster drills that schools commonly initiated, the active threat drill focuses on concealment, containment, and immediate survival strategies of the students and faculty in case there are active physical threats or aggressive unauthorized armed actors.
Hence, the institution expresses its deep appreciation to the Lamitan City Police Station for spearheading the drill and providing an orientation for the learners and faculty members.
Thank you, Police Officers for guiding the Drill and facilitating the Orientation for our learners!
May the Drill and lessons learned in the orientation serve as a lasting shield, instilling our learners and staff with the critical instincts, composure, and preparedness needed to protect lives in times of emergency.
