Maybe that’s the whole point—
choosing yourself,
even if you stand alone.

Not because you don’t want company,

but because you refuse
to abandon yourself
just to have it.

Sometimes
the bravest choice
is the one
where you keep yourself,

even if no one else does.

Always choose to buy from them. They don't sell to get rich.
They sell to survive.

This Valentine’s Day reminds us that love, no matter how sincere or deep, cannot survive on feelings alone. It needs space, support, and a place where it is safe to grow. You can find the right person. Someone kind, faithful, and true. But, if the environment around you is heavy with struggle, pressure, or the wrong system, even the purest love can feel tired.

Love should not have to fight every day just to exist. Because real love doesn’t only ask, “Is this the right person?” It also asks, “Are we in the right place to build a life together?” The right place lets you breathe, dream, and become better side by side.

May we all find not just the right heart to hold, but the right world where our love is free to flourish.

Happy Valentine’s Day 💖

There is a quiet grace in learning to notice the little things. In a world that constantly urges us to move faster, achieve more, and measure our worth by grand milestones, it becomes easy to overlook the small mercies that soften our days. Yet it is often in these ordinary moments, the warmth of morning light through a window, a familiar laugh, the comfort of a gentle breeze, the simple relief of making it through another day that light quietly pours in. These details may seem insignificant at first, but together they form a steady reminder that life is not only found in extraordinary events. It lives in the pauses, the in-betweens, and the quiet spaces where beauty waits to be noticed.

When we choose to see these small lights, something within us begins to change. We grow more grateful, more present, and more hopeful. The world feels less heavy because we realize that goodness still exists in subtle, everyday forms. More than that, these moments reflect our own inner strength back to us. They show us that we have endured more than we thought we could, that we carry kindness even when we are tired, and that there is a light within us that does not easily fade. In noticing the light around us, we learn to trust the light within us, believing that there is always more to this life, and always more to who we are becoming.

CHATGPT: What's My Curse?

The rain was pouring heavily when I curiously prompted ChatGPT with "What's my curse? Don't explain it" and it hit me.

For the longest time, I've lived in the ache of
"almost."
Almost there.
Almost enough.

Almost the person I worked so hard to become.
It's a quiet kind of torment-one that doesn't scream failure but whispers not quite. It's that lingering sense that no matter how much I give, how much I endure, or how close I get, I'm still somehow left waiting at the edge of fulfillment.

I've chased perfection, hoping it would grant me the permission to finally feel worthy. I've convinced myself that once everything aligned. Once I felt more prepared, more confident, more complete then I could finally arrive at the life I dream of. But the truth is, that day never comes. Because the curse of "almost" doesn't break with achievement. It breaks with decision.

That "almost" builds up silently over time, creating this invisible wall between where I am and where I know I could be. I've spent years standing just steps away from what I truly want-watching it, reaching for it, but never quite holding it.

And I've asked myself, Why? Why does it always feel like I fall short at the last moment? Why do doors seem to open just wide enough for me to peek in, but never walk through?

The answer hit hard. It's not always the world withholding from me. Sometimes, it's me waiting for certainty, for permission, for a flawless version of myself that doesn't exist. I've built my life on the belief that I have to earn everything as if worthiness is some far-off finish line I haven't crossed yet.

But I'm done letting "almost" write my story. I'm done shrinking my joy, my ambition, and my voice just because l've been afraid it's too soon, too bold, or too much. The truth is, l've already survived so much. I've grown through storms, pushed through doubt, and carried dreams others might have abandoned long ago. That isn't "almost." That's already.

So today, I choose to stop chasing. I choose to claim. I choose to live like the life I want isn't ahead of me, it's within me.

After all this time, I've just been standing at the threshold, unaware that the door was never locked.

Now, l am ready to breakthrough.
No more waiting.
No more half-steps.

The curse ends where I say it does.
