AGLE REVIEW 2026 | CROP SCIENCE| PRACTICE AND ENHANCEMENT SESSION

We have successfully concluded our Practice and Enhancement Session for Crop Science under our continuing AGLE Review Program 2026. The session was designed to not only test what we have learned but to deepen our understanding and strengthen our mastery of one of the most vital pillars of agriculture.

Throughout the session, we comprehensively discussed key areas in Crop Science including crop production principles, plant breeding and genetics, crop physiology, crop protection, and sustainable crop management practices. Through intensive drills, situational questions, and collaborative discussions, our reviewees were able to enhance their critical thinking, recall, and application skills that are essential for the actual board examination.

This initiative reflects our commitment to academic excellence and to producing competent, service-oriented agriculturists who are ready to respond to the challenges of food security and rural development. We recognize that Crop Science is at the very core of agriculture, and mastering it is crucial in building a resilient and sustainable agricultural sector.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated lecturers Mr. Niko L. Mambusada, Mr. Feb Bryan Velez, Mrs. Menveluz De Joseph - Yapendon and to diligent reviewees whose active participation and eagerness to learn made this session truly impactful. Your perseverance, discipline, and passion to learn despite the demands of review season are truly commendable.

Lecture: Agricultural Extension and Communication
Lecturer: Mr. Jenard Tambong and Mr. Mark Joshua Talas

Our journey through the AgLE Enhancement Review Program continues!

Delving into Agricultural Extension and Communication reminded us that agriculture is more than just technology and production — it’s about people, empowerment, and connection.

We didn’t just review extension philosophies, principles and approaches, communication models, teaching methods, diffusion and adoption process, and leadership in rural communities. We also strengthened our role as future Licensed Agriculturists to be effective catalysts of change — bridging science to farmers, and farmers to progress.

As we learn about participatory extension, community organizing, and effective communication strategies, we are equipping ourselves not just to pass the board, but to serve our farmers, uplift rural communities, and ensure that no farmer is left behind.

Delving into Agricultural Economics and Marketing reminded us that farming is more than planting and harvesting — it’s also about prices, supply and demand, cost and return, and getting products to consumers.

We didn’t just review farm budgeting, agribusiness management, marketing channels, price determination, and government policies.

Lecture:
Crop Protection🌱
Our journey through the Agriculturists Licensure Examination (AgLE) Enhancement Review Program continues! Diving deep into Crop Protection reminded us all that nurturing a harvest goes far beyond planting seeds—it is a critical science and a vital shield for our agricultural ecosystems.
To protect our crops is to safeguard the yield of our farmers' hard work against pests, diseases, and weeds. Our review sessions didn't just cover the technicalities of integrated pest management (IPM), pathology, and entomology; they reinforced our duty as future licensed agriculturists to implement safe, eco-friendly, and effective defense strategies.
As we analyze pest lifecycles, disease diagnostics, and sustainable control measures, we are equipping ourselves not just to pass an exam, but to secure yields, preserve biodiversity, and champion resilient farming.
