ARAL Program: Summer Reading Kick-Off 2026โœจ๐Ÿ“š

The spirit of learning shines brighter this summer as we officially launched the ARAL Program Summer Reading Kick-Offโ€”a meaningful initiative made possible through the strong leadership of our active School Head, Maโ€™am Nabelah T. Radiab, in collaboration with our committed PTA officials, ever-supportive parents, dedicated ARAL tutors, and enthusiastic learners.

The event highlighted the Signing of the Wall of Commitment, a powerful symbol of unity and shared responsibility in nurturing a culture of reading among our learners. This was followed by an Orientation for Parents, strengthening their role as partners in guiding and supporting their childrenโ€™s literacy journey at home.

This program goes beyond simply improving reading skillsโ€”it builds confidence, fosters a love for learning, and creates a supportive community where every child is encouraged to succeed. Through collective effort, we are opening doors for our learners to become more independent readers and lifelong learners.

In compliance with the Division Memorandum on the Conduct of Early Registration for School Year 2026โ€“2027, Buntong Elementary School officially enjoins the Early Registration Activity from January 31 to February 27, 2026.

Early Registration covers the following learners:
โœ… Incoming Kindergarten
โœ… Incoming Grade 1
โœ… Incoming Grade 7
โœ… Incoming Grade 11
โœ… Transferees to public schools
โœ… Out-of-School Children, Youth, and Adults (OSCYA) and potential ALS learners entering basic education for the first time

Parents and guardians are encouraged to register early to help the school prepare adequate resources, classrooms, and teachers for the upcoming school year.

Buntong Elementary School joins the 2026 National Toothbrushing Day! โœจ๐Ÿฆท

Buntong Elementary School proudly enjoined the 2026 National Toothbrushing Day (NTD) and the Simultaneous Oral Health Drills held on February 2, 2026, in support of the 22nd National Dental Health Month spearheaded by the Philippine Dental Association (PDA), in coordination with the Department of Education.

Our learners actively participated in the simultaneous toothbrushing drill conducted at exactly 8:00 AM, promoting proper oral hygiene practices and raising awareness on the importance of dental health at an early age. This meaningful activity aligns with the theme โ€œDentistaโ€™y Katuwang sa Ngiting Walang Humpay,โ€ emphasizing collective responsibility in ensuring healthy smiles among our learners.

Buntong Elementary School remains committed to supporting health-related programs that nurture not only the minds but also the overall well-being of our learners. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿชฅ

Our Meranao learners may not be very inclined to dancing, but for the sake of the school, they truly gave their best. ๐Ÿ’›

We saw them trying so hard, smiling through the steps, and striving to complete the routine, not because it was easy, but because they wanted to show their support and be part of something meaningful.
