💧THANK YOU, LGU LAL-LO RESCUE 35!💙

Catugan Elementary School extends its sincerest gratitude to LGU Lal-lo RESCUE 35 for their immediate response in providing a water supply to our school due to the insufficient water supply being experienced on campus.

This timely assistance, made possible through the leadership of Hon. Florence Oliver B. Pascual, Municipal Mayor of Lal-lo, and the dedicated efforts of Engr. Leopoldo A. Cologosa Jr., Head of RESCUE 35, has greatly helped ensure that our learners, teachers, and school personnel continue to have access to water for drinking, sanitation, and other essential school activities.

We also express our heartfelt appreciation to our School Head, Ma’am Mishel P. Ramos, for her prompt coordination to address the school’s needs, and to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Raquel C. Marantan, for her continued guidance and support in promoting the welfare of our school community.

Flag Raising Ceremony and Recognition of Athletes and Coaches

Catugan Elementary School proudly conducted its Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, bringing together learners, teachers, and stakeholders in promoting patriotism, discipline, and unity. Adding pride and color to the occasion, our learners attended the ceremony wearing their Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) uniforms, reflecting their commitment to leadership, service, and good citizenship.

A special recognition program was also held to honor all the players and athletes who proudly represented Catugan Elementary School during the recently concluded District Meet and Municipal Athletic Meet. Their dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship brought honor and pride to the school.

This achievement was made possible through the unwavering guidance and support of our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Raquel C. Marantan, whose continued encouragement inspires our learners and teachers to pursue excellence in both academics and athletics.

The school likewise extends its heartfelt appreciation to all the coaches for their tireless dedication, patience, and commitment in training and mentoring our young athletes. Their hard work, under the leadership of our Sports Coordinator, Ma’am Rowena O. 🏫 Revitalizing Our School Canteen

For the past two consecutive years, the school canteen had been neglected and was even used as a storage room (bodega), leaving it unable to serve its intended purpose for the benefit of our learners.

With a clear vision of providing a safe, clean, and functional learning environment, our newly assigned School Head, Ma’am Mishel P. Ramos, Head Teacher III, immediately prioritized its repair and rehabilitation. In just two weeks since assuming her post, she initiated the restoration of the school canteen, transforming it from a storage area into a facility that will once again serve the nutritional needs of our learners.

This significant improvement is made possible through the proactive leadership of Ma’am Ramos, together with the invaluable guidance and unwavering support of our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Raquel C. Marantan, whose commitment to quality education continues to inspire meaningful school development initiatives.

Indeed, this is another step toward creating a cleaner, safer, and more learner-friendly environment for every child at Catugan Elementary School. Together, we continue to build a school where every improvement reflects our shared commitment to excellence in education.

🩺 SCHOOL-BASED DEWORMING PROGRAM 2026 | Catugan Elementary School

Today, Catugan Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based Deworming Program for all Kindergarten to Grade 6 learners as part of the Department of Health and Department of Education’s continuing commitment to promoting the health and well-being of every child.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of Ma’am Mishel P. Ramos, Head Teacher III, with the dedicated supervision and coordination of Ma’am Mary Ann P. Urbi, Master Teacher I and SBFP Coordinator, in collaboration with District Nurse Ma’am Jane A. Edillo, who ensured the safe and proper administration of the deworming tablets.

The school also expresses its sincere gratitude to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Raquel C. Marantan, for her unwavering support in strengthening school health programs that contribute to learners’ overall wellness and academic success.

The School-Based Deworming Program aims to protect learners from soil-transmitted helminth infections, improve their nutritional status, enhance school attendance, and promote better learning outcomes. With the cooperation of parents, teachers, and health personnel, the activity was successfully carried out in a safe, organized, and learner-friendly environment.
