Today, we take the time to honor Zonta's 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲, a meaningful celebration that recognizes the strength, compassion, and leadership of women in our communities. The yellow rose stands as a symbol of friendship, appreciation, and support among women, reminding us of the importance of uplifting one another and standing together in empowerment.

𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 2026 was truly an unforgettable experience for the 𝐙 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐥-𝐥𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 as we joined fellow student leaders in a 3-day Camporee full of learning, teamwork, and service.

The event gathered various school organizations—including SSLG, BSP, BKB, YES-O, SDRRM, ESWM—creating a space where collaboration and leadership took center stage. Through shared activities and meaningful interactions, students learned the value of working together beyond their own groups.

A highlight of KampBataan 2026 was the Leadership Forum, graced by our Guest of Honor and Speaker, 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐐𝐮𝐞, a proud member of the Zonta Club and the Mayor of Tuguegarao City, whose words inspired young leaders to lead with purpose and integrity. In addition, the Vice Mayor of Lal-lo, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐚𝐥, the mother of the Z Club of Lal-lo National High School, delivered the message of 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐚𝐥, further motivating the scouts and student leaders to serve their schools and communities with heart and responsibility.

What made the experience truly meaningful was how KampBataan 2026 inspired unity, strengthened leadership skills, and reminded everyone of the importance of serving the community and protecting the environment.

‎In line with the 18 Days of Activism, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐙𝐞𝐭 2025—now on its fourth year—was successfully held on December 10, 2025, at the Lal-lo National High School Gymnasium.
‎
‎At its heart, Project CloZet is about sharing hope through clothing. More than just donated garments, each piece carried warmth, care, and compassion. Through the generosity of the Z Club and various grade levels, the project reached out to students in need—reminding them that they are seen, valued, and supported.
‎
‎The activity formally opened with a meaningful program that emphasized the values of kindness, generosity, dignity, and unity, especially during the Christmas season. In this initiative, clothing became a symbol of comfort, solidarity, and love within the school community.
‎
‎The Z Club of Lal-lo National High School extends its deepest gratitude to the school administration, guest speakers, officers, volunteers, and partner organizations whose collective efforts made this initiative possible.

‎May Project CloZet continue to be a platform of hope, a gesture of compassion, and a testament to service and unity in our community.

‎In an initiative to bring warmth and comfort to young patients and newborns, 𝑯𝒖𝒈𝒁 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 celebrated its 4𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 through hospital visits filled with smiles, soft toys, and gentle encouragement. Despite the rain, the team pushed through—led by Vice Mayor Olive Pascual, together with LGU Lal-lo through MSWD Officer Ms. Josephine Amurao, the Z-Club of LNHS headed by President Joanne Letada with advisers Ms. Arlene Columna and Ms. Marjorie Abaya, LGU Information Officer Mark Kevin Agcaoili, and VMO staff—all driven by one mission: to remind children they are not alone in their journey.

‎This year, 160 𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 found their way to little hands and hopeful hearts—35 at Mathilde Olivas Hospital, 75 at Toran Hospital, 35 at Charles W. Selby Memorial Hospital, and 15 at Lyceum of Aparri Hospital. Each bear, made possible through P350 donations, carried more than stuffing—it carried 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔. What began under Vice Mayor Pascual’s leadership as Zonta Club of Tuguegarao President (2022–2024) now continues under the 18-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐀𝐖, extending compassion with every visit.

‎Year after year, HugZ of Hope proves that 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒚. Sometimes, comfort is soft, small, and held tightly in a child’s arms—a reminder that healing is lighter when hope is shared, and that 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐚𝐲.

The LNHS ZClub GirlZ are proud to be part of the 18-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬! Together with the LGU of Lal-lo, DepEd, BFP, BJMP, and other partner groups, we stand for the safety and rights of every woman and girl. Violence can happen anywhere — at home, in school, or online. That’s why we choose to speak thoughtfully, protect in small ways, respect differences, and support with kindness, making Lal-lo a safer, more valued community every day.

Meanwhile, Mommy O, Babaeng Maaasahan Vice Mayor Olive Pascual, the mother of our club, is currently in Manila attending the VMLP National Elections — yet she still didn’t forget to start off the 18 Days of Activism. Even from afar, she made sure the movement was honored and remembered, showing that advocacy has no distance and commitment has no boundaries. Her presence may be miles away, but her leadership continues to guide and inspire the GirlZ in this movement for change.

As we begin this campaign, may we all remember that ending violence starts with awareness, grows through unity, and succeeds through action. Together, we raise our voices, strengthen our stand, and move forward—because 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒔 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔.

Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and powerful — not just in words, but in their daily lives.

This World Children’s Day, under the theme “My Day, My Rights”, we promise to listen deeply to every child’s voice and defend their right to belong, learn, and flourish. At our Club, we pledge to stand with children, giving them space to speak, to share, and to lead us toward a kinder and fairer world.

Because when a child’s rights are honored today, their future lights up tomorrow — and our world becomes brighter for all. 🌟❤

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lal-lo joins the celebration of World Children's Day today, November 20.

In line with this year's theme, "My Day, My Rights," the local government will continue to promote and advocate for children's empowerment by providing platforms where they can freely express their opinions and help them understand the importance of knowing their rights, both as children and as individuals.
