NATIONAL SCHOOL BUILDING INVENTORY (NSBI) 2026 🏫

Tucalana Elementary School successfully conducted the National School Building Inventory (NSBI) validation on August 28, 2026, with the presence of our esteemed validators from the Schools Division Office of Cagayan, Sir Antonio Balisi and Sir Terrence Lloyd Castillo.

The activity focused on validating and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the school’s data on buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. Their careful assessment and guidance are valuable in strengthening our school’s planning and ensuring that the needs of our learners and the school community are properly identified.

We sincerely appreciate Sir Antonio and Sir Terrence for their time, expertise, and commitment to ensuring reliable and accurate school infrastructure data.

Tucalana Elementary School proudly secured 5th Place Overall during the Lal-lo Central District Schools Press Conference 2026 held on August 8, 2026, at Bagumbayan Central School.

The school’s young campus journalists delivered an impressive performance, bringing home numerous awards in various journalism categories in both English and Filipino.

Signing Off.

For one year and ten months, Tucalana Elementary School became more than just my assigned station—it became my second home, my family, and a place where I discovered that service is most meaningful when it is shared with people who believe in the same purpose.

From my very first day, I simply wanted to contribute in every way I could. Every opportunity to serve became a chance to help strengthen our school, celebrate the achievements of our learners, and share the many stories that make Tucalana Elementary School truly special. Every milestone we reached was never the work of one person but the result of a community united by dedication, commitment, and love for education.

One of the greatest blessings of my stay was serving as the School Paper Adviser of Tocolana Mantra. Watching our young campus journalists grow from hesitant writers into confident storytellers has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my career. Seeing our publication rise as one of the Top 7 Best School Papers in Region II and witnessing one of our young journalists earn the opportunity to compete at the Regional Schools Press Conference reminded me that success is never measured by trophies alone—it is measured by the lives we help shape.

More than the awards, my greatest accomplishment has always been the children. If there is one thing I have always believed, it is this: the greatest investment a teacher can make is in developing the abilities, character, and confidence of every learner. I have always told my pupils that it is better to gain experiences than simply collect achievements, because experiences become stories, lessons, and wisdom that no one can ever take away. As teachers, our mission has never been limited to teaching lessons inside the classroom—we are called to teach good values, build character, and prepare children for life.

To our School Head, Ma'am Brenda Avon F. Bolando, our teachers, our learners, parents, stakeholders, the Lal-lo Central District family, and everyone who became part of this journey, thank you for your trust, encouragement, and unwavering support. Every success I experienced carries your fingerprints because none of it would have been possible without all of you.

As I leave Tucalana Elementary School, I do so with nothing but gratitude in my heart. Though my assignment may change, the memories, friendships, laughter, challenges, and lessons I gained here will always remain with me. A part of my heart will forever belong to Tucalana.

This is not goodbye forever. It is simply the closing of one meaningful chapter before another begins. I pray that Tucalana Elementary School continues to reach greater heights, produce more excellent learners, and inspire more lives in the years to come.

To my dear pupils, keep dreaming, keep learning, and never stop believing in yourselves. To my fellow teachers, continue serving with passion, humility, and love. The seeds we plant today will become tomorrow's success stories.

Tucalana ES bags silver in Badminton Boys' Singles A

Tucalana Elementary School added another podium finish to its campaign after securing second place in the Boys' Singles A badminton event during the Lal-lo Central District Meet 2026 held at the Barangay Tucalana Gymnasium on July 11.

The silver medal was won by Kyl D. Arquero, who displayed determination and consistency throughout the tournament before finishing as the runner-up in the championship match.

The achievement contributed to Tucalana Elementary School's medal haul in the district meet and reflected the athletes' commitment to representing the school with pride and sportsmanship.

Tucalana ES netters bag two golds, three silvers at District Meet

Tucalana Elementary School delivered an impressive performance in the lawn tennis competition of the Lal-lo Central District Meet 2026, collecting two gold medals and three silver medals at the Lal-lo Municipal Park on July 11.

Leading the school's medal haul were Andrea Keith Ramos and Trinity Cabal, who captured the gold medal in the Girls' Doubles event, while Arnold Conciso Jr. ruled the Boys' Singles division to secure another gold for Tucalana ES.

The school also earned three silver medals through Chester Niel T. Alvarez in the Boys' Singles, Jocelyn Balagat in the Girls' Singles, and the tandem of CJ Paat and Xyruz Cullangan in the Boys' Doubles competition.

The strong showing highlighted Tucalana Elementary School's growing strength in lawn tennis and added to the school's successful campaign in the Lal-lo Central District Meet 2026.

Tucalana ES girls finish as District Volleyball Runners-Up
Two spikers earn spots on Lal-lo Central team for Municipal Meet

Tucalana Elementary School settled for second place in the girls' volleyball competition of the Lal-lo Central District Meet 2026 after bowing to Dagupan Elementary School in the championship match held at the Barangay Catayauan Gymnasium on July 11.

The Tucalana spikers fought hard but fell in straight sets, 23–25,16–25, as Dagupan ES captured the district title.

Despite the runner-up finish, Tucalana celebrated another milestone as two of its players were selected to join the Lal-lo Central District volleyball team. They will represent the district in the Municipal Meet on July 12, 2026.

The selection of the two athletes recognized their outstanding performance and potential, giving them the opportunity to compete at a higher level while carrying the pride of both Tucalana Elementary School and Lal-lo Central District.

Tucalana ES defends District volleyball crown;
Straight-set victory sends defending champions to Municipal Meet

Defending champion Tucalana Elementary School once again proved its dominance in boys' volleyball after sweeping the championship match in straight sets during the Lal-lo Central District Meet 2026 held at the Barangay Catayauan Gymnasium on July 11.

Entering the finals with a twice-to-beat advantage as last year's champion, the Tucalana spikers needed only one match to retain the district title.

The team sealed the victory in two sets against Dagupan ES, 26–24, 25–17, showcasing composure and teamwork throughout the contest.

The championship win earned Tucalana Elementary School the right to represent Lal-lo Central District in the Municipal Meet scheduled on July 12, 2026.

With another district title under its belt, the Tucalana boys continued the school's proud volleyball tradition and set their sights on bringing home another championship at the municipal level.
