LSNHS spreads love through Outreach Program

In this gift-giving season, Lake Sebu National High School headed by Mr. Jeremiah M. Mosquera, conducted LSNHS K'Sebelay: K'Setubong Outreach Program with the theme: "Spread Love and Care Through Sharing".

This outreach program was able to gather heartily-given donations such as hygiene kits, school supplies, and laundry supplies. These were received by Pastor Adel Kuyan and members from Sitio Tasufo, Brgy. Ned, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.

The said event was initiated by the Lake Sebu Youth Wetland Savers Organization (LSYWSO) headed by Ms. Analyn U. Mercado, Supreme Student Government (SSG) headed by Ms. Stephanie Care Ofong, Peace Club headed by Mrs. Regine S. Manzano, and with the cooperation of LSNHS Multi-Purpose Cooperative headed by Ms. Marianne A. Olili.

To share simple joys and blessings to the community is the true spirit of this season. Let's continue to spread love and care through sharing.

TODAY'S HIGHLIGHT | Kimberly T. Porras, the crowned Miss Glamour Look Philippines 2022 paid a courtesy visit to her beloved Alma Mater, Lake Sebu National High School.

She was welcomed by her former teacher Mrs. Leonisa Parcon along with Mr. Jude Andres, Mr. Moises Subiera, and Mr. Jerick Porras.

Lake Sebu National High School’s 3-day BSP encampment wrapped up successfully today, December 4.

On the last day of the camping, the scouters participated in reveille, scout games, and clean-up drive. Outstanding scouters were also awarded during the closing program.

A total of 139 campers attended the said school-based encampment along with Mr. Cedee O. Huecas, the BSP coordinator, Mr. Jason M. Bacla-an and Mr. Emiliano P. Centina, Jr., as the scout masters. Mr. Jeremiah M. Mosquera, Jr., School Principal II and the entire Faculty and Staff of LSNHS, especially the BSP Encampment Working Committees, also showed utmost support to the campers and to this event.

A Scout is being prepared and trained for responsible citizenship. As he acquires necessary knowledge and skills in Scouting, his mind is conditioned and he is able to offer these same knowledge and skills not only for himself but in the service of others. Scouting therefore is a preparation and readiness to serve others, hence the motto “Laging Handa.”
