We are an institution where learning and research is at the heart of our mission. Since our inauguration in 2011 we have quickly developed a reputation as premier review studio for architecture. In our efforts to disseminate further knowledge of architects, we have set-up additional studios in Davao, Legazpi, Tacloban, Pampanga, Bacolod, Iloilo, Tacloban, Baguio, Singapore and Manila notwithstanding with our main studio in Cebu City, Philippines. At ArcStudio, we offer variety of courses to further enhance professionalโs knowledge and skills through modules, training, seminars and workshops, design and construction tours and scientific national and international publications.
'The ArcStudio Method' is our teaching methodology which foster an environment supportive of creative learning. We teach our students with different methodology that combines analytical approaches and theorizing the current paradigm. At ArcStudio, we learn through critical thinking. We donโt just ask our students to solve a problem, but we teach them to ask and define what the problem is. We start with an in-depth understanding of the basic theory, where the students is taught to solve a series of case problems in order to develop a critical thinking. This methodology is reinforced with workshops and case-based exams through real world problems. With this process, our students efficiently learn this together, internalize it, deeply understand it, and apply to every board exam problem or at their real world professional practice.
