Goal 2: Zero hunger | UNDP 09/02/2020

Goal 2: Zero Hunger

It is time to rethink how we grow, share and consume our food. If done right, agriculture, forestry and fisheries can provide nutritious food for all and generate decent incomes, while supporting people-centered rural development and protecting the environment.

Right now, our soils, freshwater, oceans, forests and biodiversity are being rapidly degraded. Climate change is putting even more pressure on the resources we depend on, increasing risks associated with disasters, such as droughts and floods. Many rural women and men can no longer make ends meet on their land, forcing them to migrate to cities in search of opportunities. Poor food security is also causing millions of children to be stunted, or too short for the ages, due to severe malnutrition.

A profound change of the global food and agriculture system is needed if we are to nourish the 821 million people who are hungry today and the additional 2 billion people expected to be undernourished by 2050. Investments in agriculture are crucial to increasing the capacity for agricultural productivity and sustainable food production systems are necessary to help alleviate the perils of hunger.

Economic Growth 09/02/2020

Goal 8: Decent jobs and Economic Growth
“Foundation for equitable, inclusive and sustainable development.”

The world today is roughly still lives with global unemployment rates of 5.7% and having an ordinary job is not enough to guarantee the ability to escape poverty in many places. It’s very ironic today that every family with unemployed parents are not having enough to eat, not being able to buy quality food, not having a place to live that's in good repair - being unable to afford repairs or to get the landlord to make them. So this is why the United Nations has 17 Sustainable Development Goals, eighth of these is the recommendation of having a Decent Jobs and the continuous Economic Growth.

UN General Assembly in September 2015, decent work and the four pillars of the Decent Work Agenda – employment creation, social protection, rights at work, and social dialogue – became integral elements of the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), 5.6 per cent of the global population were unemployed as of 2017. In 2018, the total number of unemployed people remains high - above 192 million - and it is harder to find decent jobs. Most of the unemployed people are just trusting for the Governments help for them to live especially to those has a family. Goal number 8 of Sustainable Development involves opportunities for work that is productive and delivers enough income, so it will help especially for educational purposes.

What can we do to fix the loss of Economic growth? I think by, providing youth the best opportunity to transition to a decent job calls for investing in education and training of the highest possible quality will remain the growth of the economy. Productive employment and decent work are key elements to achieving a fair globalization and poverty reduction. Sustainable economic growth will give societies helpful processes of providing and allow people to have quality jobs that help them to live normally without harming environment. Imagine the United Nation build this kind of Goals just to provide quality jobs for you so this is what can I say for the youths that having a bad time spending in school. If you think education is expensive and your losing interest on it but you want a decent job, try ignorance.

Economic Growth Roughly half the world’s population still lives on the equivalent of about US$2 a day with global unemployment rates of 5.7% and having a job doesn’t guarantee the ability to escape from poverty in many places. Goal 5: Gender equality | UNDP 08/02/2020

17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
GOAL 5: "GENDER EQUALITY"
• Accessing s*xual and reproductive health services and reproductive rights for all persons with disabilities (Targets 3.7 and 5.6) | Infographic
• Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls with disabilities (SDG 5) | Infographic Advocacy for gender equality

Gender equality, it is also known as s*xual equality or equality of the s*xes, is the state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, including economic participation and decision-making; and the state of valuing different behaviors, aspirations and needs equally, regardless of gender.

143 out of 195 Countries, guarantee equality between woman and men in their constitutions as of 2014.

Yet, Discrimination against woman persists in many areas, directly and indirectly, through; laws and policies, gender-based stereotypes, and social norms and practices.
Gender Equality before the law does not necessarily mean that women in practice have equal opportunities.

It is not telling women to be like men or to edge out men; it is telling women and men to expand their social space so they can freely take on roles according to their individual capacities, not on the basis of s*x. It is not pitting women against men; it is making women and men actualize their true roles. What is not, what it is.

It is not exhorting women to stop doing housework and find employment; it is making them realize that their work at home makes it possible for others to do paid work outside of the home; It is also telling women and men that housework is a shared responsibility of everyone in the household, as much as it is very able-bodied member’s responsibility to share in providing for the household’s needs. It is not speaking for women; it is making them find voice and telling them be heard.

Gender Equality, its approaching and relating to people as persons. It is taking initiative rather than reacting to someone else’s actions; it is appreciating the value of diversity. It is not being superheroes; it believes that each person has a role to play, and that collectively, we can re-shape and re-direct our institutions, our development.

Goal 4: Quality education | UNDP 06/02/2020

GOAL 4: Quality Education.
"Ensure enclusive and inquitable quality education and promote life-long learning"

From what we have seen in the past decade. Numerous events have occurred in different countries e.g disasters, armed conflicts, political dynasties and corruptions, high level poverty, and suppression of other neighboring countries, and etc. This events greatly impacts the opportunity of the childrens to gain experience and acquire new knowledge.

It is why the United Nations proclaimed the 17 Sustainable Development Goals including promoting quality educations to the childrens. I, as a learner who have receive undoubtedly education from the government supports the idea that all childrens from different countries must receive evaluation from primary and secondary education and gain equitable quality education.

Our future generations needs to be productive, progressive, and most importantly to be educated. Do you know why? Because achieving quality education for the future generations believe that education is one of the most powerful and proven path for success and consistent progress to our country. That is why the UN ensures that all girls and boys complete a free educational fee for primary and secondary schooling by 2030. Therefore I want to say something for the learners out there that we need to study hard and learn new things as fast as possible; we need to be sensible enough for our educations because there are many childrens and teenagers that wishes to experience how to be live normal but couldn't have the opportunity to be.
