Stop the Hurt, Think before you Click: An Info Drive on Cyberbullying

Lagawe, Ifugao - Today, two personnel from the Ifugao Provincial Cyber Response Team under the PNP Regional Anti-Crime Unit Cordillera, headed by PMaj Annie Carmel C Comising conducted an information drive focused on cyberbullying to the Grades 4-6 learners of Lagawe CS. The lecturers placed emphasis on the negative effects and consequences of bullying.

This info drive was also an avenue for some learners to raise queries and clarifications which added excitement to the activity.

Our huge thanks to PSSg Jonibelle B Rufino and Pat Michael Lagada for encouraging our learners to be responsible gadget users and be extra mindful of what to post in the social media.

Look// Today, Lagawe CS seizes the moment amidst hectic schedules to come together to celebrate the National Women's Month. Inspired by the campaign banner, WE for Gender Equality & Inclusive Society", and the sub-theme: Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!", the celebration started with the flag raising ceremony followed by a short program where personnel and learners alike enjoyed the brief but memorable celebration. Creative dance presentations sieged the LCS stage and a zumba added thrill to the already festive mood. The activity was concluded with a beautiful rendition by the LCS Men's Choir dedicating their song to all women and girls of Lagawe CS.

‎The NWM is an annual activity celebrated every March to honor the incredible resilience and strength of women in overcoming challenges. Cheers to all the women who make the world a better place everyday.

Lagawe CS Landscape Improvement Continues

Improvement of a portion of the Lagawe Central School's landscape was undertaken through the donation of the DBHS Batch 1988. Groundworks were in place including the concrete strip in the middle of the landscape.

Though it is still a long way before its completion but small things matter. Thank you donors and looking forward to more collaborations in the coming days.

The school's landscaping project was inspired by Sir Romeo P. Sixto, former LCS- PTA President and carried on by his successor, Sir Joel B. Tultog. #
