Metodio Elementary School conducted the Mid-Year Screening and Assessment (MOSY) through the administration of the Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA), and Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI) to determine learnersโ€™ current levels of literacy and numeracy, monitor their learning progress, and identify specific areas requiring intervention and support. The results will serve as a basis for planning appropriate instructional strategies and interventions to further improve learner outcomes.

The Department of Education-Cordillera Administrative Region (DepEd-CAR) calls on the public to join in prayer for the safety, protection, and well-being of all learners and school personnel, especially amid recent incidents of violence in schools. The prayer seeks Godโ€™s protection, guidance, healing, and peace for the entire school community.

To the DepEd-CAR family: Through Regional Memorandum No. 749, s. 2026, the Ecumenical Prayer for the Safety of School Children is to be recited during flag ceremonies and school programs and activities.

To the public: We invite everyone to join us in prayer for every child to be safe, for every school to be a place of peace, and for every learner to be able to study, dream, and grow without fear.

Sa harap ng insidente ng karahasan sa mga paaralan, batid natin na kailangan ang mas maagap na aksyonโ€”hindi lamang matapos ang insidente, kundi upang maiwasan ito.

Patuloy na pinaiigting ng DepEd ang mga polisiya at programang naglalayong protektahan ang bawat mag-aaral at ang buong school community.

Ngunit hindi ito kayang gawin ng isang ahensya lamang. Kailangan ang sama-samang pagkilos ng mga ahensya, LGUs, paaralan, pamilya, at buong komunidad.

Kaya itinutulak ng DepEd ang Joint School Safety Task Force kasama ang DILG at PNP, upang palakasin ang koordinasyon at agarang tugunan ang mga safety gaps.
