The spirit of bayanihan is alive as we officially begin Brigada Eskwela 2026! Today marks the start of a collective effort among teachers, parents, volunteers, and Brgy. Official to prepare our school for a productive and successful school year.

Education is shared responsibly!🤝
As we prepare for the opening of School Year 2026-2027, BUNEG PRIMARY SCHOOL is once again opening it's doors for the annual BRIGADA ESKWELA, happening from June 1-5, 2026.

We cordially invite all our valued stakeholders-parents, alumni, community leaders, government agencies, private sectors, and caring volunteers-to join hands with us. Let us embody the true spirit of Bayanihan by volunteering your time, labor and skills to help clean, repair, repaint and improve our school facilities. 🛠️🌱

The Department of Education – Buneg Primary School announces the opening of applications for the position of:
Position Title Substitute Teacher
Salary Grade SG 11
Place of Assignment Buneg Primary School
Employment Status Contractual / Temporary
Duration June 8 – July 23, 2026
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or its equivalent
• Preferably Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT)
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Physically and mentally fit to work
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Interested applicants shall submit the following documents:
1. Letter of Intent addressed to the School Head
2. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-sized picture
3. Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR)
4. Photocopy of PRC ID and Certificate of Registration, if applicable
5. LET Rating/Board Rating, if applicable
6. Certificates of Trainings/Seminars attended
7. Certificate of Employment/Service Record, if applicable
8. Other pertinent documents

Mr. Florencio Bicares Rifareal, Jr. of the Schools Division (SDO) of Abra has been named one of the five individual awardees of this year’s prestigious Gawad Pagasa at the national level!

The Gawad Pagasa as one category of the Search for Gawad Lingkod Bayani of the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC), is conferred on individuals or groups whose exceptional contributions—through innovative ideas or initiatives—directly benefit more than one government agency, pursuant to Executive Order No. 292, s. 1987 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

Congratulations, Sir Rifareal, for bringing pride and honor not only to SDO Abra, but also to the Department of Education (DepEd)-Cordillera and the entire DepEd!
